Holberry House

I was born at Nannup in 1941 and took the opportunity to take my four adult boys back to where I spent my first 14 years . We stayed at Holberry House on Grange Road and what a joy it was. We were well and truly looked after by Louise. No fuss, no bother, just very friendly attention to make sure that our stay there was as comfortable as could be. It is very difficult to express in a review the wonderful atmosphere at Holberry. Right in town, but nestle in several hectares of beautifully maintained garden, with lots of mature trees, ponds, birds and the list goes on. We walked to and from an Elvis Presley impersonator show, which was held at the Nannup Brewery. and very early the next morning, I just walked through the town (at 5.30am) and the memories flooded back as I appreciated the wonderful changes for the better that had occurred in Nannup since I left in 1955. But the stay at Holberry House was just fantastic. What more can I say? Thank you to Louise and Chris for allowing us to experience and enjoy the best (without a doubt) holiday break that I have experienced in a very long time.

We stayed in the Hovea room, which has a jacuzzi bath. The room was cleaned, well presented and spacious, even tho the decor will send you back in time. As we drove into the garden of this very cute place, the tranquility that we felt, made us already at ease, passing all sorts of garden decor and birds. The host Louise and her husband were friendly and accommodating. The whole house feels like being back in time, however very serene. The breakfast included in the cost of your room was also lush, with fresh homemade bread, homemade muffins daily, fresh fruit, 3 types of yogurts, some cereals. A cooked breakfast can be purchased also. Fresh coffee in a percolator, butter and jams already on your table. All in all, very happy with our last minute choice. Thanks 🙏

Not your average hotel Quiet , peaceful and the opposite of a motel Personal service and impeccably clean with a two minute walk into town The ultimate accomodation in Nannup Lovely breakfast included in the room rate , just don’t book through an app call Louise direct like a real person !

I stayed for a long weekend with my daughter for her birthday. Not only was the house stunning and the hostess very friendly but the location was great. It is so peaceful with only the sound of birds and the wind. We will be back soon for another stay.

A beautiful tranquil place with beautiful quirky gardens to enjoy Nannup & surrounds. Friendly & helpful hosts, clean with period furniture. This is a very well run establishment & a stay here will not disappoint. They will need to do some refurbishment at some stage to remedy general wear & tear nevertheless this is still a stately home.

I've just returned from 3 nights at Holberry House. Our crochet group booked out the entire house for 2 nights, then 4 of us stayed on for an additional night. Holberry House is superb. Chris and Louise are excellent, experienced hosts and our group was very well catered for. The beds are nicely firm with plenty of pillows to choose from. Amenities in the bath are excellent and the towels fresh and fluffy. The continental breakfast has just about everything you'd want, incl. yoghurt, fresh fruit and freshly made bread! Some of our group tried the pool and gave it full marks. I preferred the outdoor setting on the veranda to crochet and watch the birds using the fountain for dive-bomb baths...such fun to watch and so very peaceful. Several of our group are talking about going back with their family and/or their Mum for a weekend away. I would definitely return, without hesitation. A lovely house with every amenity...good value in my opinion!
