The hotel is in a prime location, about 400 to 500 meters away from Exit B of MixC Metro Station. The hotel has a coffee shop and Laoyoufen is a must-order breakfast. The overall facilities are relatively new and cost-effective during the 5.1 period, but the air conditioning in the lobby is insufficient, especially in summer.

I was at the hotel over the May holidays. The location is super close to the train station and has a lot of food eateries and convenience stores around if needed. The staff was super helpful and despite the language barrier, went above and beyond to accommodate for all needs. I would like to mention Andy from the front desk who went above and beyond to help me book day trips at the very last minute and made sure we got breakfasts ready for early morning. He even made sure we are well taken care of during our entire stay and made sure we made it back to Shanghai okay. He definitely made a very good impression and I would love to go back for a visit to Nanning and stay again at the Hamptons. We needed a hotel because we arrived too late for the bus. Guangxi can be surprisingly cold in winter and this place was warm. The bed was tremendous and comfortable, the design of the room modern and clean. There was an included bath tub. The minibar was pretty pricey but breakfast looked good and there are convenient Chinese food (Guangxi pho) and Western (pizza and coffee) nearby. All in all we were quite pleased and would stay again.
