Nanjing Xuanwu District Hotels

Great value for a 5-star hotel! Rooms are spacious and decor is nice, the included buffet breakfast offers a lot of variety and is tasty. The hotel is located right behind the Nanjing Museum, is “close” to the Ming Tombs, and is close to the Ming Koo Kung subway station which provides easy access to many sights in Nanjing. There is even a street food bazaar right next door! The only downside of this hotel is that it does not offer a free laundry room.

Highly recommend!!! It is one of the few hotels that before you leave you just want to come again already. All the previous positive reviews are true and even better when you are there in person. Thanks to all the hotel's staffs for a wonderful stay, especially Hellen and Cecilia, my son and I enjoyed your kindness and professionalism.

The hotel is located in Xinjiekou, just a few minutes' walk from Deji Plaza. The room was super spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely book again. My only suggestion would be to replace the bottled water provided, as it's inconvenient to carry around when going out.

I brought my sister here for a trip before university started. We heard they offer quite a spread, boasting five meals a day. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, while lunch and afternoon tea were just average. The service was genuinely thoughtful and incredibly responsive – they truly catered to our every need! A huge shout-out to our driver! He was incredibly eloquent, sharing fascinating insights into Nanjing's history throughout our rides. My sister remarked that he clearly not only loves his job but also has a deep passion for Nanjing! Staying at The Ritz-Carlton made it incredibly convenient to visit places like Deji Plaza, Jiming Temple, and the Nanjing Museum. Oh, and a side note: the hotel toothbrushes were surprisingly the most comfortable we've ever used!

The room was excellent, and I was very satisfied with the service. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Nanjing University of Science and Technology, with Zhongshan Scenic Area right at its doorstep. This makes it an ideal place to stay for both business travelers and families.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's proximity to a subway station made getting around incredibly convenient. Being newly renovated, the hotel was impeccably clean. The smart controls throughout the room were intuitive and easy to operate, making adjusting the lighting and curtains a breeze. The layout was well-designed; the sleeping and sofa areas were effectively separated from the living space, giving it the feel of a mini-suite. Thoughtful details were evident everywhere, such as the retractable clothesline, which conveniently solved any drying needs. Truly considerate! The room facilities were new and practical, even boasting a Dyson hairdryer. The charming room decor added a lovely, cozy touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly, providing instant comfort upon entering the room, even on a scorching hot day. The expansive view from the window offered a pleasant panorama. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and was a truly pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Hardware🏰The hotel lobby displays award certificates of various luxury hotels, which is indeed worthy of its name. The old money style is strong, and the high floor-to-ceiling doors are particularly tasteful, whether it is the room, the lobby, or the entire hotel complex. They are all absolutely high-end and tasteful. The room card is made of wood, and even the various hangers in the guest room are rarely seen elsewhere. Facilities🎪It is a golf course itself, so there is an excellent camping site, but it feels that the camping site is not popular yet; the children's playground is one of the best I have ever seen in a hotel. It is not a perfunctory slide in a corner, but a designed venue, as well as outdoor karts and climbing areas. The swimming pool has a glass roof, and the sun shines into the water, which is particularly beautiful. There is also a small hot spring pool. The child was paralyzed after soaking in it, and fell asleep at night. 😄😄 Service❤️The front desk lady, I don’t know if her surname is Quan, saw that the child was about to cry waiting, and she thoughtfully coordinated to help upgrade to a room with a balcony, which was particularly great. The children love to bask in the sun on the balcony. During the May Day holiday, there were iron flower and fire pot performances in the evening. All in all, this was the most satisfying hotel during this trip to Nanjing, and a very happy accommodation experience.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The furniture would benefit from a renovation. The restaurant is very small and in both of our stays we had to wait to find a table to eat our breakfast. The hotel is also far from the main tourist attractions which can be possitive if you want to relax after a busy day visiting Nanjing.

My stay at Wenyi Jin Hotel in Nanjing from August 6–8 was overall pleasant. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped, though slightly compact for two people with luggage. **Highlights:** - **Comfortable beds** and quality linens ensured good sleep. - **Friendly staff** who assisted with directions and basic requests. - **Good value** for the price paid. **Areas for Improvement:** - **Breakfast variety** could be expanded—more local Nanjing dishes would be a plus. - **Soundproofing** between rooms was lacking; we could hear hallway noise at night. Would recommend for short stays, especially for travelers prioritizing location and affordability. With a few tweaks, this could be a 5-star experience!

The room is a little small, but clean, quiet and comfortable. It is convenient to go to scenic spots, 300 meters away from Gulou subway station, and the subway is convenient to everywhere. The price is reasonable and worth recommending.
