Nanjing Jianye District Hotels

Andaz Nanjing is a nice, modern & cozy hotel. I need to thank the Concierge team for their kindness & perfect arrangement. Deeply appreciated the decoration & room upgrade for my husband’s birthday. Nice view & very comfortable room. There are shopping malls and metro near the hotel, which is convenient. Breakfast is good, nice pool & gym too. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will recommend this hotel to others.

Staffs are very friendly and nice and also helpful . Location is cos we are going to stadium nearby. So walk about few mins only. Beside hotel is a small shopping mall. Attached photo is our view from room.

The surroundings are elegant and peaceful. A scenic loop road winds through the area, making it perfect for cycling and exercise. The river views are exceptionally captivating – truly one of Nanjing's most easily overlooked scenic gems. The harmonious blend of a modern urban complex and natural landscapes makes for an unforgettable experience.

I booked this hotel because I was seeing a show... Poly Theatre is right next door, a 5-minute walk. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and even late-night snacks within walking distance. The No. 7 bus stop right outside the hotel can take you to various high-speed rail stations, a practical if not extensive route. When I checked in, there was a minor issue with a detail in the room. The front desk staff immediately switched me to another room on the same floor and personally escorted me to ensure I was satisfied. This efficiency is truly remarkable, especially during the National Day holiday rush! The new room offered a view of the Nanjing Eye and the river, showing how thoughtful the staff were. (I didn't catch the staff member's name, but it was the front desk attendant working around 2:30 PM on the 1st). The hotel has many rooms, and you need to use your key card to access floors and confirm on a touchscreen... this is quite convenient. For an older hotel, choosing such a stark white decor in the bathroom area is quite bold, but the cleanliness is evident! Many hotels nowadays have switched to large dispensers for toiletries, but this one still uses individual small bottles, which must be a considerable cost. The tea and coffee area is well-organized, but I felt the lack of ceramic ware was a bit of a letdown, especially for someone like me who loves tea. The fridge was empty; is this to drive business to the lobby convenience store? Haha. But since a price list is already displayed, perhaps putting some items in the fridge would be a good idea. The breakfast at the restaurant was decent, but I felt the lack of natural light, relying solely on artificial lighting, made it a bit dim. The yukata lining felt a bit worn and wasn't very pleasant against the skin. However, the bedding's firmness was great for someone like me with a bad back; I slept wonderfully! I had planned to try the pool, but due to a flight change, I'll have to experience it another time. I'm a frequent hotel guest; if I don't book through a platform, my company arranges it. This is just my personal check-in experience.

Although the renovation took a long time, it is well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are large and fully equipped. The breakfast options are quite rich. You can take the No. 10 and No. 2 subways nearby, and the shopping mall is also close. The most important thing is that there is no price increase during the Qingming Festival. Compared with the rooms in Xinjiekou that cost more than 1,000 yuan, it is very cost-effective. I will choose it again when I go to Nanjing next time

The hotel environment is very good, the room we live in is very sunny, the health is good, the facilities are a bit old, but still satisfactory; downstairs Kudi coffee, Pizza Hut have, order a takeaway is also convenient, next time you come to play will choose here.

Acceptable but not outstanding, especially from a service standpoint. Staff were mostly standoffish and very unwilling to discuss anything outside of the script. For example, I asked if it were possible to have a late check out (I wanted to check out at 3, the standard time is 2); the front desk told me that all check out time is 2pm and cannot be changed. Absolutely no attempt to check if the room was immediately required or if anything can be done, for a single hour difference…. Like I said, acceptable but not outstanding. We to the the bar on my first evening and was told I have to sit at the bar as I was on my own (white, male). The following two customers were also on their own, but female and Chinese, and they could sit wherever they wanted. Not quite sure why the difference in treatment.

Came to Nanjing to watch Xu Song's concert. This is the nearest five-star hotel to the Sports Center, which is a ten-minute walk away. Advantages: 1. Standard five-star hotel and service, not amazing, but nothing wrong. What impressed me most was that the hotel staff were polite but not overly enthusiastic, which made me feel comfortable 2. The price system is stable, and there is no random increase in price due to the concert. Last month, when I watched a concert in Suzhou, five-star hotels such as InterContinental Four Seasons all increased their prices a lot on normal weekends 3. The scenery around the hotel is nice and lush Disadvantages: Some of the hotel facilities are a bit old, such as hair dryers, and they can be considered for replacement After comprehensive consideration, if I come to Nanjing to watch a concert next time, I will choose this hotel again!
