Nanjing is a historical city in china. So if you holiday in nanjing I think stay in this hotel is a great choice. You will feel the historical atmosphere and back to the chinese ancient house. We stay 3days and book 4 rooms. We have a comfortable breakfast like at home. The bathroom amenities are very good too.

Hotels location is perfect in the middle of the old town, however the hotel wasnt well taken care of. if you are looking at the flossy service they are not the one. they put so many cheap furniture making it look ugly, plants are not taken care, pools are filthy. I have been staying in so many hotels in the old town around china, but honestly, this one is the worst.

The location is fantastic. Feels like you are staying in a movie. Surrounding is like a mall with retail shops, and food and drink stalls. There is a Popmart nearby too.

The hotel is actually a renovated Ming-era mansion. It is beautiful with imperial-style architecture and garden. The hotel is at the centre of Laomendong area so we have ready access to all the food, fun and culture.
The staff is very friendly and is ready to help you. We want to book a 7-seat car but cannot because we dont have Didi and they help us to book for us, so lovely!

Especially Xiaobei, who has a good personality and doesn't mind petting him casually.
