My favourite hotel in Nanjing. I always stay here. Beautiful hotel, convenient location, lots going on. Just across the road very busy and touristy but in a very quiet spot.

The room was very spacious and tidy, with daily cleaning and all the hygiene products restocked. Hotel is located just next to the beautiful touristic area and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And they have lovely cats living in the hotel!

Kuandu hotel is absolutely perfectly located!! However, we were negatively surprised by the fact that the bedroom that we had booked was in the basement (-2) although it wasn't written anywhere on the site that that would be the case. So the window was overlooking a wall. Also, the bathroom was not separated from the rest of the bedroom with a door, so we felt very uncomfortable with that since there would be a couple staying in the room, not a single person. We asked to change rooms and we were placed in a much smaller one with very different decor, and no window, but at least the toilet was in a separate room.

The location of this hotel is probably the reason you should book it right away! It is located 1 min walk from the old town of Nanjing - Laomendong (also, very close to the major tourist attractions, such as Confucius temple and the Nanjing city wall). The hotel itself is in old Chinese style, which is certainly contributing to the overall vibe of your stay. The only thing I didn't like about my own room is that it was on the -2 floor. So no windows, hence no sense of what of the day it is. But also, I admit that it was the cheapest room available, so it kinda makes sense. But overall price/quality ratio is great! Absolutely recommend

Great service and location.
Right across the road from a street full of restaurants, cafes, and other food vendors. A little far from the train station in terms of walking distance but we found it fine even with 2 large suitcases.
This was a lovely cozy hotel and definitely would recommend to other travellers especially if you are foodies like us !

Location is excellent. Many high rating restaurants around. 6min walk to the City Wall. Right at the historic area to shop and walk around. The staff are super friendly, they make so much effort to communicate with us in English via phone. Also, when we checked out, they gave us 2 fans for souvenirs. The decor of the hotel is very nice. Moreover they even have a clothes hanger line in the washroom, very thoughtful. Highly recommend!
