The Ritz-Carlton, Nanjing

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this trip. Simon contacted me beforehand and diligently confirmed all my requirements. The room design was excellent, and it was very well-maintained. The lounge manager personally inspected the room to ensure it was spotless and smoke-free. Whatever calories I managed to burn at the gym were quickly replenished by the five daily offerings at the lounge!

The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing is truly a benchmark. From check-in to check-out, and from the lobby to the lounge and even room service, the entire experience exemplified an extremely high standard. The staff were exceptionally courteous and professional, demonstrating a fine sense of discretion, and promptly addressed any guest requests. The food and beverage offerings at the lounge were impeccable and of superior quality. The only minor drawbacks were that the room felt a bit dated, one of the two sinks didn't drain properly, and the bath towels shed lint. However, after we provided feedback, the staff were quick to offer solutions. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with Deji Plaza right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient for anyone visiting Nanjing. The room was spacious and bright, offering superb views. We were celebrating Qixi Festival with my partner, and after communicating with the hotel beforehand, they thoughtfully helped arrange some special touches. Our reservation included executive lounge privileges. The most unforgettable part, however, was the duck blood vermicelli soup for breakfast – it will definitely be a reason for me to choose this hotel again in the future! We did encounter a minor issue with cleanliness during our stay, but after providing feedback, the hotel staff promptly and actively assisted in resolving it. Overall, it was still a great experience.

This Ritz-Carlton feels very new, with excellent facilities. Its location is superb, right in the heart of the city. We stayed in an Executive Room on the 60th floor, and the Executive Lounge access was definitely worth it. We practically had five meals a day and were always full! Given the scorching heat in Nanjing, it was incredibly comfortable just relaxing at the hotel. The hotel prepared flowers for our anniversary, which was a truly touching and thoughtful gesture. Special thanks to Yuki, our floor manager!

The service on the executive floor was exceptionally attentive and warm. They made sure to understand our needs even before our arrival; knowing our child has rhinitis, they thoughtfully placed an air purifier in our room beforehand. Having coffee and tea delivered to the room was also very convenient. The lunch and dinner options perfectly catered to our child's taste. A special shout-out to the chef who, upon learning our little one loved a particular dish, even shared the secret to his sauce pairing – absolutely brilliant! We'll definitely be choosing The Ritz-Carlton again for our next trip to Nanjing.
