I enjoyed staying this hotel. It is very close to Nanjing university and Gulou hospital(both of them are in walking distance). Hotel offers free laundry, 50RMB voucher to access nice restaurant inside the hotel, night snack etc.

Very convenient location. There are so many cafes and good restaurants and bars just within few hundred meters. The front desk workers were nice and friendly. I must say the rooms are really clean and tidy. I liked the free coffee and snacks available in every floors 😜😜

I came to Nanjing University for classes on the weekend of the rainy season and was always struggling about which hotel to book. In the past, I mostly chose chain hotels with unified standardized decoration. No matter which city I went to, I would never make mistakes. I knew what I was doing and felt more at ease. It rained heavily in Nanjing during the rainy season. In order to make it convenient to walk to class, I decided to book the Regent Hotel at the school gate. Although it was a bit old, I had used the bathroom before, and the warm reception of the doorman uncle made me feel a lot of favor for this old hotel. I arrived at the hotel on Friday night and walked into the room like opening a blind box. Although the equipment was old and full of experience, I could still see the previous intentions. After some minor setbacks, the hotel upgraded us to a king-size bed room in the south and provided us with a handwritten good night card, which was really rare. In addition, milk, sleeping eye masks and facial masks were also given as gifts, which was attentive and meticulous. The first night was spent with the sound of rain. The humidity in the room was high during this special period. Due to the old equipment, the air conditioner could not adjust itself, so the quilt was wet and the carpet had some smell. I thought about changing to another hotel the next day. But the next day, I opened the curtains and saw the layered city view outside the window. Many landmark buildings stood outside the window, accompanied by rain and fog, which was quite flavorful. The service staff came specially to deliver exquisite snacks and red wine. The humane service made me stay. I think if the hotel can improve the equipment, renovate it a little, and the cleaning staff can do a more meticulous job, I think more people will choose Jingli, and I am also looking forward to staying in a better Jingli.
