Our stay at The Central Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and took care of every detail. The room was spacious, with two generously sized single beds that were perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the famous DeJi Plaza and a subway entrance, making it super convenient to explore the city. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like complimentary water, robes, slippers, and the delightful surprise of glutinous rice balls (a special treat from Jiang Wei) for my daughter, who has quite the sweet tooth! The breakfast buffet was incredible, offering an overwhelming selection of delicious dishes, far more than we could try in one sitting. The on-site restaurants were exceptional, even better than some of the more expensive dining options we’ve tried in Nanjing. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nanjing!

This is not a 5 Star hotel as it is advertised. I would give it 3+ star at most. Rooms are old, with a smell of smoke. Clean, but renovations are very outdated. Breakfast was just OK. A lot of options, but the taste was not the best. There are much better options in town for the same money.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Nanjing Central Hotel (Room 576, from 30 July to 1 August). Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the Executive Vice General Manager, Mr. Charles Hao. We didn't know he was the GM until he introduced himself after personally leading us to our room. He was humble, friendly, and lovely to chat with. He even gave us an upgrade and assigned us a newly renovated room at no extra charge. We are so grateful for such warm hospitality.
The room was perfect. It was extremely clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The air conditioning was cool, the shower pressure was good, the bed was comfortable, and the smart TV was even bigger than the one we had at home! Best of all, we met sweet Pan Na, the housekeeping manager in charge of our room, who presented us with two cute animal towels.
On our departure day, the hotel porter not only helped us with our heavy luggage but also protected my head with his hand as I entered the taxi. Such a gentleman! All in all, the service here is really top-notch, and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We will definitely return the next time we visit Nanjing.

We have stayed in many hotels in different cities in China and we rate our stay at the Central as the best! Excellent friendly service from all staff, comfortable accommodation, delicious breakfasts and location close to all the tourist spots all contributed to a wonderful experience.

This was my second stay in this hotel. It's location is great, easily accessible by car or metro. While being a bit old, it is clean and the rooms are nicely furnished. The breakfast is superb with a lot of Chinese and western options. Overall, Central Hotel Nanjing is value for money.

The check in is very fast and the staff is attentive and courteous. The room is in great condition and clean. It is a very pleasant stay. The buffet offers a good spread of food and drinks.

Amazing hotel experience. I was staying there with my girlfriend for couple days. The hotel is in a very nice area and the room was clean and modern.
My girlfriend had her birthday during these day therefore the hotel made us beautiful birthday cake for free! For this reason thank you to the manager Na Pan!

Great stay at this hotel! Kind people that work there and they could easily help us in English. The only thing that was at the downside is that the pool was closed.
