The location of the hotel and the staff were both amazing. The room was great and spacious. I'd definitely use the hotel again.

Good location to visit main landmarks in Nanjing. The hotel staff was very friendly. We arrived a bit early and they had no issue giving us the room. Even got an upgrade. The room was clean and quiet. Would recommend for stays if visiting Nanjing.

The staff at the FD called SHIRLERY was polite and professional, room view was great, but the room lookes like a little bit old , close to the street and noisy, and easy to The Confucius Temple.

The hotel is beside the street and the rooms was too noisy,but the front desk staff of Jack is very professional and helped me changed my room immediately, and sent me a gift, very nice!

Furnishing and fittings of room were dated but still acceptable.
Not good experience when I checked in where they told me that they could only give me an adjoining room i.e. poor if not nil sound-proofing from the next room for the 1st night and I could move to another room thereafter. I booked months ago and paid fully for it but they did not reserve the non-smoking room I had booked. I did not change room cos of the hassle of doing so and had the 'pleasure' of hearing everything (snores included) going on in the adjoining room.
Best part of this hotel is the location: near fuzimiao, da men dong and shopping centers.
Housekeeping was also very efficient, friendly and courteous, beating any 5 stay hotel.

This is an international hotel which is a little old. Washroom is smelly and I don't like the setting of putting the towels on top of the toilet bowl.

The hotel front desk were extremely friendly and accommodating and allowed us to check out late at like 2pm. The hotel has a nice downtown location to walk to tourist attractions, dinner, check out a couple galleries, and have drinks. It was great. Service top notch as always.

They have us free breakfast and upgraded our room. The experience was phenomenal, everyone was so nice, the breakfast was amazing and I would definitely book again. 10/10

Very small old room for the price. We realize its the vacation period however we expected a better room for this rate! During the same period we stayed in rooms in both Beijing Shanghai and Nanjing for about the same rate and they were all much more superior than this place. Poor quality room. Needs to be refurbished. Old , dark, dated bathrooms . Wont be staying here again

Great Holiday Inn experience. Good value for money, very central and conveniently located next to malls, tourist areas and amazing eateries. From arrival, the staff are genuinely kind and courteous. A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift.
I would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and travelers to Nanjing.

It blows my mind that this hotel is rated 5 Diamonds on the app. I have stayed in so many 4 Diamond hotels around this one that were 1/2 the price and so much better. You come to expect a certain standard of 5 Diamonds and this hotel was a complete disappointment. I don’t know if I would even say 3. The room seemed to be falling apart. Tiny little thing that felt dark and cramped with walls all cracked and ripped wallpaper. I’m seriously considering calling a lawyer for how this hotel was misrepresented. Total lies. Avoid this place like the plague. I will never stay here again. Photos are room 1039. I’m truly embarrassed that this is an American hotel chain offering this kind of shabby accommodation. I also have higher expectations of hotels from my home country.
