The strength of this hotel is its great view and the friendliness of its staff.
However, there is one fatal drawback that overshadows all the other advantage
The air conditioning is very weak, and the room never feels cool.
The lighting is dim and gloomy.
There are not enough 1 or 2 person tables in the breakfast area.
The breakfast quality is worse than nearby 5-star hotels.
I do not recommend this hotel to the following travelers:
- Those who are sensitive to heat
- Solo travelers

Hotel overall good even though a bit rub down after its opening 15years ago. Staff very nice and rooms are very clean even though the furniture has some marks here and there (we stayed 65th floor). The breakfast we did not try as it was too expensive.
However what was really disgusting was the sauna/spa area. The pool itself was closed but the changing room that includes the sauna and a hot tub was really run down, dirty and stained everywhere. Apparently nobody has really cleaned it for years. The water in the hot tub was brownish.
My wife said the ladies rooms looked considerably better though.

The breakfast and the view are great. Everything else is good but the hotel is also not cheap. It wasn’t nice that we needed to wait 1h until we could move into our room but they provided us a free coffee and tea team on their restaurant.

We got a free rooms upgrade by the hotel as it’s our wedding anniversary trips!! Rooms are clean n tidy n comfortable. Spacious room too. Very iconic hotel building in Nanjing as well, metro is just within 2 mins walk from the hotel main entrance. Their room top bar is amazing at lvl 78! We stay at lvl 52 which is pretty cool with an amazing view! Will highly recommend this hotel
