Toilet has awesome bidet (same as Japanese hotels)
Great location with good attentive service. Plenty to see surrounding hotel. Breakfast is not buffet but simple local Chinese style bundle of porridge and buns. Free fruits and afternoon tea is a nice touch.
Hanfu experience is 3rd party so it’s a waste of time as they don’t provide good service and change timing without informing properly. Suggest hotel to remove or monitor them properly.

This was my first trip to China and first time travelling alone so I was very nervous. Everyone was so friendly and patient when I needed help or had questions even though my Chinese is not great and I’m very shy 😂. One of the lovely staff even offered a snack on the first night which was a nice surprise but I wasn’t feeling great so couldn’t try it. Water was provided everyday which was really handy with the hot weather. The location is great so I could explore Nanjing easily and I could find food and supplies nearby. The metro is within walking distance. There is also a beautiful garden I could sit in when the room felt a bit lonely or I was bored after completing my activities for the day. Beautiful hotel and I will definitely stay here again if I get another chance to visit - the most welcoming place I stayed at on my visit to China.

The location of the hotel is very easy to find. The architectural style of the Jiangnan Water Village when entering the courtyard is very beautiful. Although the room is facing the street, there is a pedestrian street downstairs, which is very quiet at night. I was also very satisfied with the afternoon tea and fruit provided by the hotel. It's a pity that I didn't make an appointment in advance to experience Hanfu. I must try it next time I stay!
