I'm fine with a windowless room, and I'm fine with a smoker's room, though I don't partake anymore. But the room reeked of stale smoke and the ventilation was broken. The AC unit was unusable because it emitted ancient smoke residue.
The walls were also paper thin. You can hear the rustling of cloth on the other side of them. I read all sorts of conversations and many times listened to a man horking loogies into some sink. I would not recommend staying the room I stayed in. I felt sick on the second morning from the stuffiness, and my clothes absorbed the stale smoke.

A great place to stay in Nanjing. You can walk to the picturesque Qinghuai River, and get to other places like Niushoushan by bus and metro (the bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel). There are many dining options nearby including famous Nanjing roast duck. The room was clean and equipped with everything necessary. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

I went to the city center with my roommates on the weekend. Three people could sleep in three beds. The environment was very clean and the front desk service was enthusiastic. As a brand under Home Inn, it was very cost-effective. When I checked out, the aunt gave me a commemorative coin. I had a great experience~
