It was such a disappointment to be left by the road side by the taxi because there is no access for cars to drop hotel guests at the front door. In the near future, there should be a metro station in the area. Meanwhile, commuting is only by e-hailing and taxi. To get a public bus, one has got to cross the busy cross junction.
Although the hotel indicated to be near the famous Confucius Temple, it is not. Hotel personnel took a very long time to check us in. I suppose the welcoming bag of fruits is a gesture of apology on any shortcomings. Room allocated to us was facing the highway and construction of a metro station. Our room was poorly made up.
Due to the poor location, we had to charter a car to bring us around. It did spoil our first visit to Nanjing.
Breakfast was good. Pampered with a wide variety of food.

The room was very nice, the hotel service was great, I would definitely stay again next time I have the chance, the sanitation was good, it was safe and comfortable. There was also free parking, and it was very close to the places we were going to visit.

They were available by the bed, at the desk, and in the bathroom, so you didn't have to fight over charging your phone or laptop. Very bad experience.
1. There were too many mosquitoes, leaving my child with red bumps and bites. Even the most basic disinfection efforts were inadequate. There were even more mosquitoes in the basement, and even in the elevator.
2. The decorating smell was extremely strong, and the whole area from the basement to the upstairs rooms was filled with it. It's not very kid-friendly, so avoid it. The upstairs rooms were incredibly smelly, and they lacked the fresh air or filtration systems you'd expect from a new hotel.
