Disappointing Hotel Experience – Not Recommended • Unfriendly for foreigners: They couldn’t issue us an elevator access card because we used a passport for identification. • Unreliable electricity: Power would randomly go out, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly. • Unhygienic towel situation: No fresh towels provided. Instead, they only gave disposable body and face towels—not acceptable for the price point. • Everything feels cheap: The room’s supplies were all disposable. For the cost, we expected actual amenities. • Nice view—but that’s it: The only redeeming feature was the view. Everything else was disappointing. • No breakfast follow-up: Breakfast was supposedly included, but no one even informed or reminded us about it. • Felt like a DIY stay: If we wanted to do everything ourselves, we would’ve just booked an Airbnb. • Poor maintenance: The amenities were outdated and dusty, giving the whole place a neglected feel. Overall: Would not recommend. This hotel completely missed the mark in service, comfort, and hospitality.

We were scamed by photos of this hotel while reality is being totally different. When we arrived to hotel receptionist sent us to other building F which is 4 mins walk from original building D address. We carried our big luggages there and found out that apartment was not cleaned properly and door couldn’t be closed after 5-10 times of trying to close it. After several complaints and conversation, door check by specialist they agreed to change the room. We went back to building D with all our belongings. Apartment from the first sight was clean, we agreed to stay there, but later we saw dust and hair on the floor. The bed mattress was very hard, even after using 2 blankets it was still hard and uncomfortable for sleeping, it felt like lying on the floor. Hair dryer was not working, staff provided only 2 big towels without any extra towels for hands and feet, we used disposable towels and it was ok. We ordered breakfast and it was absolutely disgusting, when we arrived they said that only mantou, rice porridge available, no coffee, no normal breakfast… Also, staff provided water only when I asked even though they came in the room to collect trash bags… Overall, I cannot recommend this place for comfortable staying. Location is good, near Nanjing south railway station, but other than this apartment doesn’t have any benefits.

The room was okay but: 1) more than one hour to make us register to the police, even if we're all international students, with visas, valid documents and obviously a valid police registered residence in our city. They did not tell us in the early morning when we arrived that it would have taken so long. Never in more than 10 cities have I gone to, did I have to do such a complicated thing just to stay ONE night in a hotel. 2) we paid for a room that could host 6 people and we were put in a room for 4 people: 2 single beds and one queen size bed, 4 towels, 4 bottles of water. I did not mind the hotel, it was nice looking, with a nice location. But I don't know if I'd go back there
