Hilton Hotels in Nanjing

Pros : - The main advantage of this hotel is the location near the river. It is very peaceful and the view is great. - Bedroom is OK and well equiped - The balcony with a view on the river is perfect at night. It would have been good to have a chair or something on the balcony... - Breakfast is good but not as good as other Hilton hotels i stayed in China. Cons : - Furniture and equipment are dated. A refresh of the hotel is urgently needed. - Air condition was not working. We put air-con at 20 degrees and it was much more hot inside the room than outside, even if it was more than 25 outside ! - Check-in took half and hour ! Hotel did a mistake and prepared 2 rooms for us, while we only booked 1 room. We had to get help from a Chinese friend to do the check-in. This is not acceptable for an international hotel. I chose this hotel because it is close to my relatives house, but it is far from Hilton standards. I will not come to this hotel anymore until a refresh is done. I prefer to stay in a better hotel and take taxi everyday. The price is similar to others hotels in Nanjing (Shangri-La, Hilton Nanjing...) that are much better.

On Friday, I took my parents to stay at the Hilton Hotel Niu Shou Mountain. It only takes 18 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi from Nanjing South Railway Station, which is very convenient. After checking in, the hotel housekeeper Miss Wang Wenxin took the initiative to help us with our luggage. She introduced the various places in the hotel with a smile, took us to the room, and taught us how to connect to WIFI. She was really enthusiastic. The hotel is close to the Niu Shou Mountain Scenic Area, with a superior location and beautiful scenery. There are several shuttle buses to the Niu Shou Mountain Tourist Area on the right side of the hotel entrance every day. If you miss it, it only takes a few minutes to walk from the hotel to the east gate of Niu Shou Mountain. The window of each room in the hotel corresponds to the mountain view. This time we booked a deluxe king-size bed suite, with only 2 rooms on the first floor. The room is very large, with 104 square meters. There is a guest toilet on the side of the entrance, and then a living room with a sofa and a mini bar; there is also a tatami with a small low table on it, and there is a viewing platform outside the window, which is very suitable for drinking Kung Fu tea while enjoying the scenery. The living room is the master bedroom, the dry and wet separated bathroom, and the cloakroom on the side, which is really large. There is also a balcony outside the room, with a sofa and a coffee table, where you can make a cup of coffee, enjoy the breeze, and enjoy the mountain view. In autumn, when the maple leaves are red, staying in the hotel is like living in the abundant natural scenery of Niu Shou Mountain. After breakfast every day, you can leisurely walk through the forest trails and feel the magical charm of nature. Finally, I want to say that all the waiters in the hotel are very polite. As long as they pass by the guests, they will say hello warmly, making people feel at home.
