Hotels in Yunshuiyao Ancient Town, Nanjing

The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the waterwheel and next to the Yunshui Yao stone tablet. It is very suitable for taking photos in the morning and evening when there are few tourists. The accommodation feels good, the room is hygienic and clean, the layout is simple and elegant. I especially like the beautiful scenery that can be seen through the two large glass windows. The boss is an enthusiastic person, and the dishes he cooks are delicious, especially the steamed light fish, which is delicious. One thing to note is that the bath water is an electric water heater, and the stored hot water is only enough for one person. The next person has to wait for the water to be boiled before washing. You need to be patient.

The hotel is located next to the scenic spot, with convenient transportation, clean and sanitary, and the stay experience is ok. ps: The scenery of the ancient town is average, not worth the ticket price, the charges for the earth buildings are unreasonable, there is a problem of double charging, and the whole day's experience is average.

The weather was perfect when I went there, and I could see beautiful scenery from the room. The location and hardware facilities of the B&B are good, and the service is also very good. You can ask the owner directly about what to eat and what to do in Yunshuiyao. The scenic area is not big, but it is very suitable for slowing down life and drinking tea and daydreaming under the banyan tree by the stream.

We stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags. The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required. Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100. The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old. When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage. The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy. The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening. The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day. There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu. The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse. The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

Nice tuluo turned Bnb, very pretty. I booked the private room outside of the tuluo and turn out very hot in the day cuz it’s facing the sun and the aircon isn’t working well. It’s quite suffering. But the staff managed to get the technician to fix the aircon, still hot but much better. Staffs are super nice and helpful. They helped us got a cake for our friend’s bday. Overall I enjoyed the place.

The child fell asleep on the way, so we checked in early. The owner was very enthusiastic and helped us carry the suitcases upstairs and let us check in right away. The environment and hygiene of the B&B were very good, the air conditioning was also very powerful, and there was a little wild cat at the door which was very cute. We checked out more than two hours late, but the owner not only did not charge us more for the room, but also gave the child some snacks when we left. In short, I will choose this B&B again next time I come, and I am very satisfied.

The hotel is in the most central location of the scenic spot, and it is convenient to go anywhere. The large floor-to-ceiling windows of the room are the husband and wife's banyan tree building. It is very convenient to go out to see the night view shopping at night. The boss's farm food is also very delicious and discounted. You must choose a hotel to come to Yunshuiyao. The tatami-style room is very suitable for bringing children. The boss is very good at providing service, and parking and check-in are all arranged properly. The Shiwei restaurant at the door is affordable and delicious, and guests can get discounts. Although Yunshuiyao is crowded, the B&B is very good and I like it very much.

A ”big fish seagull” let me come here, I have seen it in my dream! Tulou, big banyan tree, small bridge and flowing water, pastoral scenery, are so beautiful! This time I chose to travel freely. I booked the hotel on the platform in advance. In the ”Fanchen Xiaoyuan” in the scenic area, the boss is a warm and refreshing handsome guy. The small courtyard is warm and elegant, and the room is spacious, bright and clean. What's more, it is in the middle of the scenic spot, very close to the big banyan tree, and it is especially convenient to play. I also recommended a niche attraction ﹣﹣ Meilin Ancient Town according to my itinerary, and free pick-up and drop-off. It's really beautiful here, plum blossoms are in full bloom, and there are few people and beautiful scenery. It is suitable for a quiet daze. It is highly recommended to everyone!
