Fantastic hotel for seeing the Tulous in Fujian. Pricey, but worth it. Very charming with fantastic rooms. Just the walk along the stream to the hotel is an experience on its own. The little stream running past the hotel made it very peaceful. All inclusive (except for lunch) package designed for people to go explore the Tulous during the day, food was delicious in a great restaurant over looking the stream. The restaurant is semi open and the hotel was very attentive with insect repellent incense underneath the dining tables and insect repellent readily available for guests. At night the hotel took us up the river (15min walk) to go see fireflies at a spot over a bridge, amazing experience. They also set up a tent near just next to the bridge with drinks and cut fresh fruit available. The hotel is the epitome of what modern China should be like. It perfectly blends the old (restored old buildings) into new modern, tasteful functional buildings. Staff were attentive, quick to respond. Highly recommend.

The shining pearl in Yunshuiyao Scenic Area - recommend this hotel! Unexpectedly satisfied! First of all, the hotel's location is very convenient, close to the scenic spot, making it very convenient to visit. We planned to spend one night at the Lotus Land but we ended up spending 3 nights instead. The hotel is very well located, very clean and the staff was great! We had so many cloths to be washed and once asked the girl from reception some help, she took us to their laundry room and helped us out washing our cloths without any extra fee. I strongly suggest you to stay at this hotel if u plan to visit the Tulou cluster in Fujian.

Before coming to Yunshuiyao, I had already chosen the designer hotel 1949, which is located next to the big waterwheel and the 670-year-old banyan tree. Since I didn't book a hotel in advance during my self-driving trip to Yunshuiyao during the Spring Festival four years ago, and I couldn't stay in Yunshuiyao, I chose it this time. The loft room is really cozy, with a distinction between movement and quietness, and the view is also layered, especially the old peach tree in the yard, which was full of peach blossoms when we checked in, full of spring. The room facilities are complete and new, and the store service is super warm and thoughtful. They are responsive to every request, and the afternoon tea and fruit will also remind you of the usage time. There is a small children's playground in the backyard, which is very suitable for families with children. Climbing up to the rooftop terrace of 1949, the old banyan tree with lush branches and leaves comes into view, the Changjiao River is gurgling, and the mountains are surrounded, as if you are in a paradise. When checking out, the store specially sent souvenirs, making guests feel at home!

The room is nice and well-lit. The view of the B&B by the river is also good. It is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is clean and filling. When you arrive at the gate of the scenic spot, a young man will pick you up at the parking spot. He will use a tricycle to help carry your luggage. It is very convenient. B&B Overall it’s pretty good, but it’s not down-to-earth enough. It’s still highly recommended. It’s enough to visit Yunshuiyao once. The main reason is that the 90 yuan ticket is not worth it.

It's not an easy place to reach if, like us, you are a family of 6 with a baby and a lorry load of luggage. We arrived by high speed train at Nanjing (Fujian) and found a taxi to take us to the hotel (one way ¥260, negotiated from ¥300). The journey was around 2 hours on winding and slow roads (on the way back we took the high speed motorway which reduced the journey time to around an hour). The hotel is in a rural location off the main tourist areas. We arrived later than expected but we were able to get dinner. The food is exceptional. The chicken in particular is delicious. We booked a family room with a slide. Our children would of happily spent the entire stay in the room playing on the slide. I've stayed in many 5 star branded hotels and yet this guesthouse has so many little extras, gadgets and technology than most. The password keypad door handle is perhaps the most over complicated means of opening a door, but I applaud the dedication to style and design. The toilet has a Japanese style multifunction thing going on. It took me a long time to figure out how to flush it. The toilet seat lifts when you open the door! The TV is a large projection on the wall. Not being Chinese I struggled to figure how to get regular TV channels. Everything I found required pay to view. It was a nice and clear projection however, and if able to understand the programming it would be amazing. We enjoyed 2 days touring various Tulou's. There are many within a short drive, though behind the hotel there is a small village with Tulou and earth buildings that make for a lovely walk. Overall, a great guesthouse with trendy vibes and family friendly facilities. Very comfortable stay.

Hygiene: When I checked out, I saw someone coming to collect bathroom supplies for washing. It should be changed after each guest, which is good. Facilities: The boss has spent a lot of money. The guest rooms are fully equipped with TVs, projections, aromatherapy, and Bluetooth speakers, and they are brands that everyone knows. They have their own parking lot. first rate service! We signed up for a tour that day and it was quite far away from Yunshuiyao. The boss picked us up and gave us fruits to eat in the evening. This time, the boss had a lot of personal problems. Overall it's okay, especially the introduction of chartered cars, which is cost-effective and doesn't rip off customers. However, the breakfast is not very good. The breakfast level can be improved overall.

The Nanyuan Inn is right next to the small river, backed by mountains and facing the water, and opposite to the green hills. This place is like an ancient house hidden in the mountains. It has been refurbished by a designer with good taste, making it more livable but retaining the original old house The charm~ listening to the sound of water and birds, drinking the local wild tea, really relaxing~ Facilities: The rooms are large in size, and the facilities and equipment are quite new, and they are all available. There are also rosemary toiletries~ Service: In addition to the unique geographical environment, the biggest feature of the South Campus is the service provided by the shop sister Jiang and Xiaohe. Sister Jiang made tea for us and talked about the humanities and customs in the village, and also made delicious meals for us with locally picked wild vegetables, fish and shrimp ~ Followed Xiaohe to catch fish and pick wild vegetables ~ Stayed here for two nights, let I feel as if I went to a relative's house, which is really a good interpretation of being at home~ In the evening, I sing and watch movies with the residents next door and the clerk~ If one day you get tired of the fast pace of the city, you might as well come to the South Yard for a stay, you might be reluctant to leave~
