Popular Nanjing 4-star Hotels

This is one of the best homestay experiences that I ever had. The homestay is located in Taxia Village which is quieter and less commercialized in Tulou scenic areas that provide lots of privacy for the guests. The room and the building are located just next to the clear water stream. At night, I can even hear the stream of water flowing sounds. The villagers are very friendly to the tourists walking around. They are not pushy about selling any commercial products to tourists which is very contrast to the other commercializedTulou scenic areas. The owner/host is very hospitable, friendly, and helpful. This differentiates from the other hotel staying experience. I also got help on how to get around the Tulou scenic areas and where to get reasonable price restaurants from the host. 这是一个非常好的民宿。 这民宿地点是在塔下村。 塔下村是个地点比较安静， 不商业化的土楼景区。 对住客来说是很有私人空间。民宿就在河溪旁边，晚上睡觉时， 还可听见河溪的流水声。 早上在塔下村四处走走， 村民都对游客很友善， 没有对我有任何商业销售产品的压力。 民宿的老板很友善， 很肯帮助客人。这跟一般的其他酒店的住宿都很不一样。 老板也指点我如何去其他的土楼景点， 和去附近的价钱公道的餐馆用餐。

We stayed on the 3rd floor in a family suit with 5 people - two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, spacious. Excellent location to explore Yunshuiyao and visit both Hakka houses Huaiyuanlou and Heguilou along the river within walking distance. Excellent service - free afternoon tea and fruits in the evening. Restaurant also is very good. Reception helped us with the car for to visit Tianluokeng cluster.

The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast. It is very pet-friendly. The room is in the center of the scenic area, very close to Huaiyuan Tower and Hegui Tower. There are a lot of food nearby. The boss will call in advance to inform you about entering the scenic area and parking. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The boss guy would go to the parking lot to help with luggage. The room was very stylish, the mattress was super soft, the breakfast was quite rich, and there was a cute Labrador, which is very suitable for families. Travel and self drive with pets.

As it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.

A very satisfactory B&B. It is located by the water. It is quiet in the bustle. It is very quiet at night. It is in the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area. It takes 8 minutes to walk slowly to Huaiyuan Tower. There is no charge to climb the tower at night. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the central waterwheel. The bar there is very lively with singing at night and the night view is super beautiful. Has its own parking lot. The boss is warm and hospitable, and he will take the initiative to pick us up in the parking lot and drag our luggage. The room is clean and beautiful, the bedding is clean and comfortable to sleep on. The package includes an afternoon tea with delicious cakes, watermelon, and chrysanthemum tea. The food at the B&B is delicious, including tiger tail chicken soup, sweet potato leaves, tofu stew, and stir-fried bamboo shoots. The wine brewed by the owner is delicious. Breakfast is also good, clean and hygienic. The next day at noon, I ate the braised noodles made by the boss, which was great.

Overall it's okay, especially the introduction of chartered cars, which is cost-effective and doesn't rip off customers. However, the breakfast is not very good. The breakfast level can be improved overall.

It was an impromptu trip to see the earth buildings. I found Nanyuan Inn on Ctrip. I was unexpectedly surprised. It turned out to be a renovated earth building with unique design. It is in a village that has not yet been developed for tourism. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has few people. , suitable for daze. The lady at the inn is super enthusiastic and feeds us all kinds of dried fruits and peanuts, and the meals are all delicious.

A very beautiful hotel with the structure in wood of an old tulou and a fishpond in the center of the courtyard. It was very peaceful. You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof. You are awaken by the sounds of the birds in the morning, it is really a unique experience. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor. They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.

I went to the ”Four Dishes and One Soup” Tianluokeng B&B to stay in! The decoration is very unique! There is a good smell of tea at the entrance and in the room! The service is also very warm and thoughtful! I had dinner downstairs in the evening, and the breakfast was also delicious. The whole family ate well! I also like the tea gifts! There is also a game table that children like in the lobby. If there is nothing to do at night, you can kill time here! You must stay overnight when you go to Tianluokeng. Go directly to the mountain when there are fewer people the next morning. There are fewer people and beautiful scenery! Reverse visit can avoid congestion on the mountain! The only regret is that the proprietress downstairs warmly entertained Kung Fu tea drinks. After drinking for a while, I felt that it was to promote tea. I felt a little uncomfortable here! I didn't expect that the car drove back and forth and couldn't find the hotel. I contacted the hotel in desperation, but it turned out that the entrance was on the inconspicuous roadside. The first feeling when I came in was that the winding path led to a secluded place. I walked up the stairs for a hundred steps and looked up, and it was right in front of me. There were parrots at the door, cats in the lobby, and swans by the stream. It was a real harmony between man and nature. I brewed the local Baiya Qilan with the manager, and the fragrance of tea lingered in the air, and the feeling of going home came to me. The level of the restaurant, the standard of the guest rooms, and the service of the butler are all online, so I won't say more.
