I really don't understand all these good reviews. The hotel is really old and shabby, some of the furniture is partly broken and the towels are disintegrating. The contrast between the photos and reality is just too vast. Cleanliness could be improved. There was dust on the floor, somewhat hidden areas like corners and gaps looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages and the table coverings were in urgent need of washing.
Sound proofing was practically non-existent, you could hear people talking in the corridor very clearly and loudly which made sleeping difficult. In the evening, someone (I think the cleaning lady) just barged into my room even though I had locked the door, which was rather disturbing.
At breakfast, the hotel clearly wasn't prepared for the number of guests as there weren't even enough seats and several dishes were already used up two minutes after breakfast started. Also, breakfast started half an hour later than announced at Trip.com, which is rather inconvenient if you want to catch an early bus.
All in all, this hotel is way too expensive for what you get and I really can't recommend it. It is more of a shabby guesthouse, but comes at the price of an upscale hotel.

It is a relatively cost-effective hotel in the county town. It is not noisy and you can hear the frogs croaking when you sleep at night, which is quite nice. Fruits are given when you check in, but the plums are a bit sour. The waiter at the front desk is very enthusiastic and helps to turn on the TV if you can't watch it. The breakfast is so-so, but it is okay overall.

Because I wanted to go to Yunshuiyao and didn't want to stay in a B&B in the scenic area, I chose Nanjing County. The room was good, but a little old, but cheap. The checkered tablecloth was interesting.

The girl at the front desk was very warm and thoughtful. She answered all questions and helped us solve problems in time. I like her 👍.
The hardware facilities of the hotel are poor. The USB charging port cannot be used. The connection of the sink water pipe is not sealed. The water comes out when washing hands, causing sewage to overflow. There is no place to put things in the shower room, which is very inconvenient.
The hotel is decorated a long time ago, which is not a big deal. The key lies in management. There are a lot of dirt on the tiles on the wall of the bathroom. I can wipe it clean with wet wipes, but no one pays attention to this. So the key lies in whether the management really pays attention to it.
