Room is good, in a traditional Tulou. Best was to eat with the family for breakfast and dinner.

Fantastic experience. The owners are super friendly and helpful! I recommend contacting them on wechat ahead of time to be picked up from the train station (ID: qing-de-lou) as it is about an hour away. I stayed 2 nights which meant that on the day I arrived I walked and explored the local Tulou, on the second day I drove around with the hotel owner to explore some other Tulou which I'd really recommend doing. I think all for a fair price! Lots of nice restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

Advantages: 1. The boss is enthusiastic and proactive, very talkative, helping to guide parking and introducing how to play, 2. The suite we stayed in has a loft, which the children like very much, 3. The earthen building is very photogenic, and it looks good for taking pictures 4. The bath water has a large amount of water Disadvantages We checked in late that day, and rushed to see the night view of the four dishes and one soup without carefully checking the quilt. When we came back to sleep at night, it was past one o'clock. We found that the quilt cover was not clean and had a smell, and it didn't look like a new one. It should have been slept in by someone before. Because there was no phone in the room, we thought about running down to the third floor to find the boss. Everyone was very tired, so we put our own clothes on the contact area and made do with it for a night. I hope the boss can improve the hygiene. It is busy during the Spring Festival, and everyone understands it, but no matter how many guests there are, they should change the quilt for each guest. This is the most basic hygiene guarantee.

This is the best experience of tulou (traditional dwellings) that you can do in the area - the tourist sites (Tianluokeng for example) are very busy during this season (National Day holidays) and the information on how to get there in buses are rare and not very explicit. So the cottage is very cute, the rooms are less well decorated but comfortable, functional and clean. The two sons, the youngest of whom speaks a little English, picked me up (for a fee) from Nanjing train station since there was no public transportation and the location is far from other cities (Zhangzhou). I stayed two nights and recommend dinner once. The breakfast is also plentiful. The hosts are very welcoming. I really enjoyed spending time in this gîte, with the little table where you can drink tea at any time of the day. You absolutely must visit Taxia at night, it’s idyllic! And in the morning, you can walk to the top of the hill, it’s very beautiful, very green.

The accommodation environment is similar to a small hotel next to the train station that costs 20 yuan. There is no hot water for half of the shower, and I always feel that it is the smell of the quilt or the room... In short, I have experienced it in Tulou, and I will never, never experience it again. I almost didn’t sleep all night...and the village is full of earthen buildings and the attractions are all earthen buildings. I really don’t know why you want to live in earthen buildings. I suggest you go to Taxia Village to find a better B&B or hotel. Don’t suffer the consequences here. …

It is said that this earth building is 200 years old. The renovation and decoration are very good, maintaining the style and characteristics of the earth building, and meeting modern sanitary needs. During the two days we stayed, there were showers and sunny days, and the scenery in the building was beautiful. Compared with other B&B environments seen in Tianluokeng, Qingde Building is definitely the first choice for experiencing earth buildings! The inn is located a little further inside Taxia Village. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the village entrance. The inn has attached catering, and you can ask the landlady to prepare meals at affordable prices!
