Floral Luxury Tea House (Nanjing Tulou)

Taxia Tulou Scenic Area
Very satisfied with the inn. They took the initiative to call one day in advance to confirm the itinerary and remind us of precautions. The location is also easy to find. We arrived directly according to the location. Inside the scenic area, there is a parking space at the door, which can park eight or nine cars, and there is a power outage pile. The inn owner and his family are very enthusiastic. They took the initiative to carry the luggage, add WeChat, introduce the scenic spots and hotel facilities in detail. The room is also very spacious, but the corners of the wooden bed can easily hit the legs. The inn has its own restaurant, the food is delicious, not expensive, and the breakfast is also very rich. When I left, they also gave me their own roasted tea. It's a pity that I only stayed for one night. I will go again if I have the chance.
Floral Lux Hotel ·1949 Guesthouse(Yunshuiyao Zhongxin Waterwheel)

Yunshuiyao Ancient Town
Not bad, the room is clean and sanitary, the service is also very proactive, afternoon tea and evening snacks are available, and they remembered to remind us on WeChat when the window was not closed. The location is also good, there is a large square for parking, and it is very close to Hegui Building and Huaiyuan Building. Not far from the door is a big banyan tree and a waterwheel. The banyan tree is really big. It's the first time I saw such a big tree. It's so cool.
Wanjia International Hot Spring Hotel Nanjing, Ganzhou

The room facilities and bedding are good, especially the separate hot spring bath, which the children like very much. However, the bathroom has a foul smell... Although a fresh air blower has been used to remove the odor, the effect is not good. The key is that the subwoofer of the KTV is too loud at night. I can hear every song clearly, which affects my sleep. I asked the front desk and they said it will not end until 2 o'clock in the morning. If the hotel must have a dance hall, it must be soundproofed.

It's not an easy place to reach if, like us, you are a family of 6 with a baby and a lorry load of luggage. We arrived by high speed train at Nanjing (Fujian) and found a taxi to take us to the hotel (one way ¥260, negotiated from ¥300). The journey was around 2 hours on winding and slow roads (on the way back we took the high speed motorway which reduced the journey time to around an hour). The hotel is in a rural location off the main tourist areas. We arrived later than expected but we were able to get dinner. The food is exceptional. The chicken in particular is delicious. We booked a family room with a slide. Our children would of happily spent the entire stay in the room playing on the slide. I've stayed in many 5 star branded hotels and yet this guesthouse has so many little extras, gadgets and technology than most. The password keypad door handle is perhaps the most over complicated means of opening a door, but I applaud the dedication to style and design. The toilet has a Japanese style multifunction thing going on. It took me a long time to figure out how to flush it. The toilet seat lifts when you open the door! The TV is a large projection on the wall. Not being Chinese I struggled to figure how to get regular TV channels. Everything I found required pay to view. It was a nice and clear projection however, and if able to understand the programming it would be amazing. We enjoyed 2 days touring various Tulou's. There are many within a short drive, though behind the hotel there is a small village with Tulou and earth buildings that make for a lovely walk. Overall, a great guesthouse with trendy vibes and family friendly facilities. Very comfortable stay.
