Family-friendly Hotels in Nanjing

We planned to spend one night at the Lotus Land but we ended up spending 3 nights instead. The hotel is very well located, very clean and the staff was great! We had so many cloths to be washed and once asked the girl from reception some help, she took us to their laundry room and helped us out washing our cloths without any extra fee. I strongly suggest you to stay at this hotel if u plan to visit the Tulou cluster in Fujian.

Fantastic hotel for seeing the Tulous in Fujian. Pricey, but worth it. Very charming with fantastic rooms. Just the walk along the stream to the hotel is an experience on its own. The little stream running past the hotel made it very peaceful. All inclusive (except for lunch) package designed for people to go explore the Tulous during the day, food was delicious in a great restaurant over looking the stream. The restaurant is semi open and the hotel was very attentive with insect repellent incense underneath the dining tables and insect repellent readily available for guests. At night the hotel took us up the river (15min walk) to go see fireflies at a spot over a bridge, amazing experience. They also set up a tent near just next to the bridge with drinks and cut fresh fruit available. The hotel is the epitome of what modern China should be like. It perfectly blends the old (restored old buildings) into new modern, tasteful functional buildings. Staff were attentive, quick to respond. Highly recommend.

We had a nice stay here and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, spacious and newly renovated. The bathroom was super clean, the shower was strong and water was hot. The bed was very comfortable and the owner and his wife were very friendly. Breakfast was tasty traditional Congi with pickled veg, eggs, salty nuts and steamed buns. The location was amazing, it’s right on the river so all your hear is the lovely river! It’s right on the path that leads you to all the major sights in the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and close and nice walk to each Tulou from here with gorgeous Banyan trees!!! The balcony was really nice to sit and enjoy dinner with incredible views of the river and surrounding Tulous. We had delicious lunch and dinner here. Would recommend pre-booking a driver, as transportation to the train from here is a little tricky if you are not self-driving. Very good price too! Would recommend this gem!

Not bad, the room is clean and sanitary, the service is also very proactive, afternoon tea and evening snacks are available, and they remembered to remind us on WeChat when the window was not closed. The location is also good, there is a large square for parking, and it is very close to Hegui Building and Huaiyuan Building. Not far from the door is a big banyan tree and a waterwheel. The banyan tree is really big. It's the first time I saw such a big tree. It's so cool.

Perfect location right at the foot of the stair case up to the viewpoint of Tianluokeng Tulou cluster so you and walk up to view the 4 dishes and 1 soup before the tourists come. It also sits next to the tulou, easy stroll in the morning. The owner can arrange taxi to pick up and drop off from nearby station (I arrived at Nanjing station), and same driver drive me for the whole day next day to visit all the main attractions. Food is ok, cooked by the owner, a bit over price dinner menu, but vegetable is home grown, fresh. Owner speak little language, need to use a lot of google translate. Room is basic, toilet is ok, good hot water running strongly. Overall I had a pleasant stay.

The room is clean and tidy, and there is free breakfast. It is very pet-friendly. The room is in the center of the scenic area, very close to Huaiyuan Tower and Hegui Tower. There are a lot of food nearby. The boss will call in advance to inform you about entering the scenic area and parking. It was already ten o'clock in the evening when we arrived. The boss guy would go to the parking lot to help with luggage. The room was very stylish, the mattress was super soft, the breakfast was quite rich, and there was a cute Labrador, which is very suitable for families. Travel and self drive with pets.

A peaceful place to chill and relax. Very pretty, clean, modern interior and nice smelling room. Fruits, drinks and yoghurt are complimentary in every room. Within the room, it is spacious! They even offer us washing machine (equipped with detergent) in every room so we may wash our laundry. Exterior has been nicely designed too. Love the deco around the common area like the reading corner, tea table. Breakfast is quite good though it’s the same for both days we were there. Manager nicely upgraded one of our room as it was off peak season. Found out they have another branch in Yun Shi Yao. Perhaps can consider staying there and this for 2 different nights to experience different locations with hopefully similar level of standards.

Environment: The location is very good, between two attractions, in a quiet location, very convenient to go anywhere. Hygiene: When I checked out, I saw someone coming to collect bathroom supplies for washing. It should be changed after each guest, which is good. Facilities: The boss has spent a lot of money. The guest rooms are fully equipped with TVs, projections, aromatherapy, and Bluetooth speakers, and they are brands that everyone knows. They have their own parking lot. first rate service! We signed up for a tour that day and it was quite far away from Yunshuiyao. The boss picked us up and gave us fruits to eat in the evening. This time, the boss had a lot of personal problems. Thank you for the reception and the experience was maximal~

You have to carpool or charter a car at the high-speed railway station, so it will be more cost-effective to drive there~ Shiqiao Village is considered a famous historical and cultural village, and there are also undeveloped original earthen buildings in the village. The Nanyuan Inn is right next to the small river, backed by mountains and facing the water, and opposite to the green hills. This place is like an ancient house hidden in the mountains. It has been refurbished by a designer with good taste, making it more livable but retaining the original old house The charm~ listening to the sound of water and birds, drinking the local wild tea, really relaxing~ Facilities: The rooms are large in size, and the facilities and equipment are quite new, and they are all available. There are also rosemary toiletries~ Service: In addition to the unique geographical environment, the biggest feature of the South Campus is the service provided by the shop sister Jiang and Xiaohe. Sister Jiang made tea for us and talked about the humanities and customs in the village, and also made delicious meals for us with locally picked wild vegetables, fish and shrimp ~ Followed Xiaohe to catch fish and pick wild vegetables ~ Stayed here for two nights, let I feel as if I went to a relative's house, which is really a good interpretation of being at home~ In the evening, I sing and watch movies with the residents next door and the clerk~ If one day you get tired of the fast pace of the city, you might as well come to the South Yard for a stay, you might be reluctant to leave~
