Hotels in Tengwang Pavilion/Wanshou Palace, Nanchang

Great experience at the Swiss Grand. Would probably stay here again. Room was clean, and the location was ideal for us. It's walking distance to Tengwangge, and close to many lively pedestrian streets. The hotel staff probably does not see many foreign visitors, so there was some confusion with our documents at check in. However, it was quickly resolved.

The hotel was built in the 1990s and is generally well maintained. The air conditioner vents are facing a bed. It is recommended to install a baffle. The bathroom is large, but there is no clothesline. The hotel's revolving restaurant is friendly. If you want to see the night view of Nanchang, you don't have to squeeze in the crowd. You can enjoy the food and the scenery directly in the restaurant. The hotel is a three or four minute walk to the Wanshou Palace, the August 1st Memorial Hall, and the He Long Command Headquarters, and a ten-minute walk to the Tengwang Pavilion. The location is good.

Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

The reception at the front desk was warm and polite, the room was cleaned promptly, the staff were very professional, and it was a very satisfactory stay. The bed was comfortable and the supplies were thoughtful. The service was meticulous and attentive. It is an ideal place to stay for business trips and travel. It is very lively outside and very quiet in the room; The central air-conditioning in the house is surprisingly sufficient, and the room is very warm and not humid at all; The hotel has a gym and laundry room The bad thing is that there is a wall outside the window of the room, with a small gap in the middle. There were several cats making noises during the few nights we stayed, which was very noisy. However, the window was not closed tightly, so it was a bit noisy. ; Overall, the hotel is very cost-effective and worth recommending

Sanitary: The sanitary equipment is very complete. There are disposable toilet mats, disposable slippers and other supporting supplies. Good reviews. Environment: The environment is also very good. Takeaways can be delivered to the door of the room by a special robot. However, a warm reminder that if there are many takeaway orders at night or at meal time, you may have to wait for a while when the takeaway has arrived at the hotel because the small robot is not so fast. You need to wait patiently. There are also drinks, desserts, etc. in the lobby. You can buy a river view room on demand. It is also good. Service: The service is great. There is good night milk. It is very warm and considerate. The towels are laid out and the slippers are placed. 😻

This is our third stay at this incredible hotel (a total of about 15 nights). We're a family of 4 people and have booked 2 rooms every time. The food: Breakfast has loads of options and it varies slightly from one morning to the next. After breakfast there is high tea until 10PM. There you can have coffee, tea, juice, cakes, fruits, rice porridge etc., for free all day. At 10PM the night meal starts. There you can eat noodles, also for free. Snacks such as fruits and drinks, are delivered to the room in the evening. The water: There are bottles in the room, but there are also bottles by the elevator that you can take if you need more. So basically you can have as much water as you want. The laundry service: It's just one of the best aspects of this hotel. We put your laundry outside the room in the morning, and when we came back in the afternoon it was in our room. Cleaned, dried and folded. For free!! The staff: All of the staff is very friendly and polite if it's the ladies at the reception, the men standing in front of the hotel, the cleaning ladies, the staff in the breakfast area... All of them nice and welcoming. Late checkout (at 4PM at no extra cost). The spa: We went to the spa for a massage. It doesn't belong to the hotel even if it's a part of it. Very good experience. The ladies were nice and you can eat as much as you want (snacks or noodles), for free. The bad aspects: I honestly can't find any bad things to say about this hotel, even if I try! We'll definitely be back.

This hotel is great, the location is very convenient, you can walk to Tengwang Pavilion and Wanshou Palace, there are many restaurants around, I especially want to say that I like the color and design of this hotel, it is very vibrant and comfortable, and the service is also very good. The only downside is that there may be fewer delivery robots, so the delivery will be slower. Everything else is great, I will choose to stay in this hotel again if I have the chance in the future! !

The hotel I stayed in during the Qingming Festival was great! There are also many bus stops around, and taking a taxi is convenient and fast, so there is no need to worry about travel problems. I was very satisfied with the stay this time.
