Hotels in Wanda Plaza/Qiushui Park, Nanchang

The hotel is full of modern art. Xiao Ai can be used to voice-control curtains, TVs, etc. in the room. There are black tea, green tea, teapots and capsule coffee machines in the room. On rainy days, I returned to the hotel early and drank tea and had snacks in the room, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very rich. Basically, there were Jiangxi specialty snacks, and they tasted very good. It takes only ten minutes to walk to Vientiane City and check in at the Internet celebrity Ferris wheel. It is also very pleasant to walk along the river on days when it is not raining, but the strong winds and heavy rains these days are not very good. Living here is not far from the West Station. It takes fifteen minutes to reach the high-speed rail station and depart without traffic jams.

My recent stay at Shangri-La Nanchang was truly delightful. From the moment I arrived, the friendly concierge welcomed me warmly and provided me with a lovely room featuring a stunning river view. The sumptuous dinner that followed was a highlight of my visit. When I inquired about a room upgrade, I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price offered. This marks my sixth stay at this hotel, and once again, it proved to be worth every penny. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and enjoyment!

From the front desk to the room attendants, to the restaurant waiters, every staff member was warm and thoughtful, and greeted politely. I received a call from the hotel before checking in, asking about the arrival time and other information, which made me feel very considerate. The check-in and check-out procedures were very quick, good reviews!

The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the subway station. It is very convenient to get there directly from Nanchang West Station. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to other attractions. The breakfast is mainly Chinese, with Jiangxi specialties such as mixed noodles and clay pot soup. The mixed noodles taste pretty good. The river view room can directly see the Tengwang Pavilion~ The service of Rita at the front desk is very good, thumbs up👍

The location was good. The windows had a view of the river and the water fountains. There were government buildings in the area, so there were no other services right in front of the door. The room was quiet, good air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton. We took advantage of it being close to the Nanchang Star ferris wheel and enjoyed that followed by dinner at TGC at a nearby mall (the one that has a Sam's Club). The room itself was spacious with a nice shower, and breakfast was pretty nice with lots of options.

I am afraid to say, this will be the last time I stay in a Wanda hotel anywhere in China. This specific hotel, like every other Wanda hotel, was clean, comfortable, had beautifully appointed rooms, a great shower, good WiFi, friendly and professional service(although I was surprised no English was spoken at check-in) and a good location. However, all of this is completely redundant when the room is simply too hot to sleep in. It’s a problem I have faced in at least two other Wanda hotels elsewhere in China. My friend and I didn’t turn the air conditioning off once during our two night stay, we also didn’t open the curtains at any point and, despite being set to the lowest possible temperature, the room never once got below 25°c. When you are paying for a five star hotel you should be able control the temperature of the room as one of the most basic requirements.

The hardware facilities and breakfast quality of Smart Choice have always been guaranteed, but this time I had some bad experiences. The service of the male front desk staff during check-in was completely non-existent. He fiddled with the room for more than ten minutes and didn't say a word when I gave me the room card. He didn't tell me which floor the restaurant and room were on. He only told me one thing when I asked, but didn't say a word if I didn't ask. Later, when I got off the bus to get something, I wanted to go to the front desk to ask for a bag. He went to the warehouse to look for it for five minutes and came out to tell me that there were no bags...

Every staff member of the hotel is very enthusiastic, making people feel very comfortable. The environment is also great, and the most important thing is that it is clean and hygienic. It is really worth staying in this hotel at this price. I will definitely come again next time I have the chance. Parking is convenient, check-in is fast, the room is relatively comfortable, the price is not expensive, the environment is not bad, the room is clean, it is the first choice for staying, and I am satisfied!
