Very comfortable and spacious room. All rooms have a great view of the river. Service in the lounge is excellent, gym and pool are of a very high standard.

Nothing to complain about. Location was good, really close to Nanchang train station and Bayi square (the didi drivers struggled with getting in the right place due to many layers of roads nearby, though). Room was clean and had all the necessities. Breakfast was really nice, I'd say a western style with a Chinese twist.

The reservation was made at the Pullman and was upgraded to the Steigenberger Hotel. This is the third time I have stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel. To be honest, the hygiene of this hotel is worse than every time, it is visibly dirty. There was a layer of dust on the mirror, there were spots on the carpet, and the edges and seams of the room were all gray. The hotel concierge is useless and has a very bad attitude.

We booked into the Holiday Inn because we had missed our connecting train and had to reschedule for the morning. The hotel was located close to the station, and was very reasonable for the price. The room was also spacious, clean and was perfect for what we needed. The staff were very helpful and polite the entire time. When we finally got home we realised we had forgotten an item, after calling the hotel the staff were very helpful and found it and would post it to us. Thank you.

The room is clean. I looked at many hotels before coming to Nanchang. Many of the bad reviews reflected that the hygiene and cleaning were not thorough. This hotel maintained the hygiene and cleanliness of the chain hotel and is worth recommending. The breakfast is rich. In the case of Nanchang's spicy specialties, the hotel breakfast is a very good supplement. The hotel service is good. Xiao Xu at the front desk is particularly enthusiastic and thoughtful. Communication problems can be quickly solved, making people feel at home. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. It takes a few minutes to walk to Toad Street and Datuyuan Street. The hotel is in a great location. Although the room was much more expensive than the day before, considering the location and the room's acceptability, I decided to stay for another day. The front desk clerk was very dedicated and asked if we needed to change the bed sheets and quilt covers, and immediately arranged for someone to clean so that we could rest at noon. The parking lot is also very large. As long as it is not too far from the entrance, you can always find a parking space. The facilities are old, but I want towels. Timely updates of bed sheets and quilt covers will make up for the shortcomings of old facilities.

I stayed here for 3 nights during the Qingming Festival in 2024. In terms of location, it was close to Bayi Square and was a perfect place for sightseeing in the area. It is a 3-minute walk from Ding Park South on subway line 2, so I recommend using the subway. It is a 5-star hotel, but it was renovated in 2016, so it is 8 years old, and unlike recent hotels, it still feels old. However, it is well cleaned, so it is clean. Since the floor is carpeted, I asked for a non-smoking room because many people are concerned about the smell. All rooms have a bathtub and I did not use the shower, but there is no problem with the amount of hot water. Basic amenities, 2 free plastic bottles, TV, refrigerator, all at a standard level. The impression/attitude of the staff is also fine. As for breakfast, first of all, it starts at 7:00, but it is not ready until after 7:30. It is 30 minutes, but I wish they would try harder. Also, the quality of the food is not good. There are Nanchang local dishes every day, but there are very few other menus. The congee/baozi etc. are normal, but the fried rice/fried noodles are not that great. Therefore, I ate bread/cakes ordered from elsewhere. I wish they would make a bit more effort! As for dinner, there aren't many big restaurants nearby, just ramen/hamburger places, so it might be better to eat around the tourist spots. As mentioned above, it does feel old, but in terms of cost-effectiveness, it's a good choice for tourists, so I recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton. We took advantage of it being close to the Nanchang Star ferris wheel and enjoyed that followed by dinner at TGC at a nearby mall (the one that has a Sam's Club). The room itself was spacious with a nice shower, and breakfast was pretty nice with lots of options.
