The location is OK, it's very close to Bayi Square, only about 7 or 8 minutes' walk away. It is next to Bayi Avenue and convenient for transportation. The hotel decoration is OK, the sanitary conditions are good, the breakfast is good, similar to Atour Seasons. The disadvantage is that the room is relatively small. I estimate that including the bathroom it is less than 20 square meters. The length and width of the room are about 3.5 meters x 3.5 meters, which is relatively small compared to hotels of the same price. Generally, hotels of the same price are nearly ten square meters larger than this one. The projector effect is pretty good, and I am also a Tencent Video member, so I can watch movies and variety shows. This room has a sofa but no table.

The main entrance is inspiring. Front desk was extremely helpful. As I would’ve expected from Shangri-La the room was exceptional. The view was wonderful picture of the river. I was disappointed with the Chinese restaurant second floor, where we ate dinner and I was also disappointed with breakfast offering at the Horizon club on the 32nd floor. Dinner early they were out of seven dishes that we selected they were still on the menu to choose from incomprehensible. At breakfast the staff at the Horizon club was very attentive, however, the food selection was sparse, and while quite fresh, was less than expected. Hotel 5 Stars. Restaurants 3 stars. Hotel staff and restaurant staff 5 stars

Nothing to complain about. Location was good, really close to Nanchang train station and Bayi square (the didi drivers struggled with getting in the right place due to many layers of roads nearby, though). Room was clean and had all the necessities. Breakfast was really nice, I'd say a western style with a Chinese twist.

The hotel is in a great location. Although the room was much more expensive than the day before, considering the location and the room's acceptability, I decided to stay for another day. The front desk clerk was very dedicated and asked if we needed to change the bed sheets and quilt covers, and immediately arranged for someone to clean so that we could rest at noon. The parking lot is also very large. As long as it is not too far from the entrance, you can always find a parking space. The facilities are old, but I want towels. Timely updates of bed sheets and quilt covers will make up for the shortcomings of old facilities.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Nanchang during National Week. A decent stay all in all. The decor is a bit old fashioned and the walls a little thin. But the room was large and comfortable, the service was very good, and it’s right next to a metro station, making travel easy. Best of all, the windows are very thick which drowns out the city noise well (Nanchang drivers seem to love blaring their horns) Breakfast was a little disappointing. We were told it was open till 12 but when we went down at 9:30 there were very few options left. If you’re a late riser it might be best to get takeaway.
