Scenic! That piece of beach is said to have geoducks, but after digging a few times, there is no harvest... Maybe our level is not good. The downstairs restaurant has a small shed and dinner can be reserved.

Recently, I had the opportunity to stay a couple of days at the Coast Parksville Hotel while attending a family matter. If you are looking for a wonderful place to enjoy your time in Parksville, you need not look any further than the Coast Parksville Hotel. Fresh renovations give a positive impression when you enter the room with microwave, sink, fridge, WIFI and relaxing views. The true value of any accommodation is the people that provide services to their guests, everyone at The Coast goes out of their way to make your stay a positive one. I would like to recognize Jufer, the gentlemen at the front desk, always has a pleasant smile, frequently asks if you require anything and an “Enjoy your Day, Sir”! This hotel is brand new with comfortable bed and LED TV. The gym facilitate is well equipped. I’m quite satisfied except for the check-in at the counter where they couldn’t allow me to have my room 30 mins earlier because I booked the room with third party despite they had plenty of empty rooms. I needed to wait at the counter till the check-in time.

I don't know what other people would expect if I said excellent but that was our experience. We were at the end of a two week holiday on Vancouver Island. We stayed at a name brand hotel on the way up island at twice the price, but it certainly was not twice as good; in fact I would say our room was not as large as the name brand but that was the only difference. Harbour Light had everything we needed for one night: comfortable beds, frig, microwave, wi-fi, and coffee maker. The place was clean and the attendant at the desk was helpful in every way. He recommended the MGM restaurant next door with a 10% discount and between the two we had a good evening before we caught the ferry to the mainland the next morning.

My family and I just recently stayed here. We had a great time. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and worked very hard to make the hotel run well. They kept everything very clean and were quick to help us when we needed it. The bed was a bit hard for my tastes but my husband and kids all slept great. Breakfast in the morning was simple but freshly made. There were muffins, cereals, breads to toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, yougurt, and a few other things. The hotel is only a 20 min drive to the ferry as well so that is a nice bonus. I highly recommend staying here.

GGuest UserActually we couldn't get to Ucluelet because of wildfire road closures and needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights. Accom in the area was tight because of the wildfire but they offered us a suite in their sister property half a kilometer up the road and we couldn't have been happier. The gated development has a communal seating area outside with sunbeds, seats, barbecues and a firepit. The views are supurb with sea views from the lounge area and bedroom in our suite(no 5) inside it is very well equipped with everything you are likely to need. Staff are friendly and attentive, all in all a great stay with nice memories. Thank you QBOS, the only reason I don't give a 5 is that a safe would have been hood, most people travel with passports, cash, cards, even jewellery but to be fair not many places have had a safe on this trip

GGuest UserWithout a travel consultant, I think I might miss this hotel. However, it was a great discovery! Everything in this small hotel was flawless. We spent two nights in the Siam Presidential Room here, big, clean and romantic. The enthusiastic hosts, and all the staff, were friendly (sometimes elsewhere you feel the enthusiasm was deliberately made). The food provided by Butlers restaurant was delicious too. It was a small and fine hotel and we will remember it for a long time afterwards. We have a long way back to England but a good break gives us energy and makes sure we get there as soon as possible.

GGuest UserWe chose the Bayside Resort in Parksville due to its oceanfront location and facilities, and were not disappointed. Though an older property, it has been recently and tastefully refreshed. The staff were welcoming, and we had an excellent room on the top floor with the breathtaking ocean views. There must have been at least half a dozen bald eagles constantly flying by. The beds were comfortable, and the balcony was amazing, equipped with great chairs. The restaurant was good, however closed too early - as many things do in Parksville. The pool was nice, however a pity it no longer has a roof to keep things warm. I would definitely look to stay here again when in the area.

JJenna JamesThe air conditioner started leaking 3 or 4 days before we left the hotel as we were there for one week . It was kind of awkward as it is above the closet and right in front of the front door so we had to keep a towel down so nobody slipped. Especially my 5yr old son when he visited . Also I didn't realise when booking the room how small it was, it actually was inconvenient, how small it was especially for a week! If I had known that (because the picture makes it look like a regular sized hotel room and they had thae size on there bit which really looks at the sq metre if the room size. If I I had known it was so small I wouldn't of rented there.
The staff were great though. They didn't charge us for late booking four when we told them about the air conditioner leaking

GGuest UserWhen looking for a girls get away with my daughters and granddaughter, I came across this little gem. The resort was prompt to reply to my email questions and after booking they followed up to see about upgrading us. Upon arrival we were greeted and had all questions answered. The rooms were clean, appeared recently updated and the basic cooking utensils were there. We attempted to set up the TV streaming service however the wifi did not appear to support this very well with spotty viewing. We enjoyed seeing & visiting the Qualicum Saturday Market, Little Qualicum Falls, and Coombs. The evenings were quiet. This looks like a great spot for family fun in the summer with the pool, waterslide, play areas and other family activities. I certainly recommend this spot.

GGuest UserIt was an amazing exercise staying at Turtle, it’s in the middle of downtown, super close to ocean, restaurants and night life is good. I’m definitely staying there again! It was clean n neat, no one disturbed, guests were super friendly.
