The Spot

Really great value for the price. The room was very clean and had nice updated features. For a $100 room, it's a great place to stay.

I thought this place was great for a night or two. Very clean, nicely furnished, the bathroom was nicer than mine at home lol, and that beautiful big rain head shower was fabulous. I think this is a great little “spot” to spend a couple of nights, easy going check in, keyless doors, and stores and restaurants very close by. Small parking lot but no issue for me. Only thing I would recommend is get a room on the top floor. Just as I had finished texting my friend how nice the room was and how peaceful it was, two inconsiderate clod hoppers moved in upstairs. Either these ceilings are not insulated or those people were brutal. I complained to front desk when I could no longer take it, and the noise seemed to taper off shortly after that. I would definitely stay here again. There was a nice fenced in little garden and patio area on the property. Because I was on the ground floor, I had a patio door. Was nice.

I forgot to check in while out and about. They kindly phoned me in the evening to confirm my arrival. Immaculately clean, comfortable, good bed and pillows, super-friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

Good rooms, clean and nicely renovated. The road is a little noisy but only because it is off the highway. Overall it was the perfect place to stay for the price. Thank you.

Excellent location close to early morning ferry and city centre in Mamiamo. Excellent bedding, great bathroom and very very clean!

Juliana is a very intentional and attentive owner. The total make over on this motel has definitely paid off. This place is one of a kind and stands above the rest of the competition. The Spot for price, quality, and convenience it is the best in town for sure.

Great room, well appointed. It was small, but perfect for one person stopping overnight. Very friendly and helpful check in.

Was interrogated at check-in because I lived in the same city as hotel. Asked over and over why I was staying there. All my wife and I wanted was a quiet night away from the kids. 4 hours after I checked out I was called by hotel claiming I “broke” a sheet on the bed and they would need to charge me $50. Do yourself a favour and avoid this property!
