This hotel is under Marriott and is well managed by friendly staff at the front desk. Check-in and check-out are quick and smooth. Indoor guest car parking is just across the street for $9.45. The spacious rooms and bathrooms have significant counter areas decorated with bright lights. Ice machines are on every floor. Washing and drying machines are available for $3 each. The indoor swimming pool opens from 7am to 11pm, and the gym is open 24/7. The only downside was the coil of the air conditioning was installed in the room, so you will hear the big noise when the coil starts to work the room temperature colder.

One of best Hotel I have ever visited. Cleanliness and Environment is 5/5 i wish i could stay long. Very Friendly Staff!! Yes i will visit this hotel again whenever i come to nanaimo.

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed. 3-star rating but feels like at least 4-star. Very nice receptionist. Clean room. Good seaview. Gym with plenty of equipment.

The hotel itself is very nice super clean rooms and a very convenient location to the old city quarter. When we arrived one of the elevators was not working but didn’t seem like a big deal as there are 2 elevators. The next morning however we discovered that the second elevator was not working, there were no notices on the elevators themselves so had to call reception to find out what was going on. My husband has significant mobility issues luckily we were on the 3rd floor but even so he could not get back up to the room so we had to leave earlier than we had planned. The staff although pleasant were pretty useless we wanted to get a coffee but they wanted to charge us $5.25 a cup the least they could have done was offer everyone a free coffee for the inconvenience
There should have been a manager taking care of things but didn’t seem to be one and staff did not have any authority to make any decisions- poor show

Very well located, staff is friendly and helpful, the room is spacious and clean. Facility inclues fridge, microwave oven and coffee making machine👍

Good location. Clean and new. Spacious bathroom. We love the heated pool. The only downside is that we do not know where the water dispenser is, and was so thirsty at night. Only on the next day we got to know that the water dispenser is in the fitness centre.
