The hotel is in a good location, on the mountain, and some rooms have a view of the lake. You can often see animals such as zebras in front (there is an electric fence). The facilities and services are average.

Excellent Stay in a Beautiful Setting!! We traveled from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru and after a wonderful afternoon game drive with lions, hippo, leopard, rhino, lots of birds and primates, we arrived to the lodge around sunset. It’s a beautiful property, likely the nicest in the area. Service was excellent, food was good, with a lot of variety. We showed up for breakfast at 9:10, despite it closing at 9, and they were more than happy to accommodate our late arrival! Huge thanks, and wonderful accommodation!

It is probably the best located lodge in Nakaru overlooking the lake. Staff is very well behaved and courteous. The lodge seems very old but require maintenance and make over. The food was good. Views excellent. A water body within the lodge attracts wild life for drinking water.

The lodge is in a fantastic location but the pictures of the outside mask a tired and run down hotel desperately in need of modernisation. We stayed for 2 nights and our rooms were very disappointing. Booked for us via our safari with Trailfinders we were I Italy staying for 1 night but paid £980.00 for two rooms for an extra night based on photos before we travelled. Total rip off. Sorry. Dirty shower room, stained bedding and mosquito net. Dodgy electrics and light fittings. Was just really disappointing. The positive about the lodge is the staff. Really great and always very welcoming. Food was okay but lacked variety and choice. Can’t recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 1 night on our safari but would have been quite happy to have spent the rest of the safari there. The amenities were fabulous, the pool, the views, the evening entertainment, the staff were very good and very welcoming, especially Monicah who was our server. She was such a lovley young lady so accommodating.
