Booked the Japanese style room with toilet. Shower room has to be shared on the 2nd floor. Room has no amenities at all. Basic hair dryer and hot flask are in the communal area. We had to set up the bed ourselves. Room was dusty and was freezing cold even tho there was heater from the air con on winter’s night. There’s instructions to learn how to kill the stink bugs. The hotel facilities are good but the overall experience wasn’t good.
Continuously-flowing hot springs. 5 private open-air baths can be used free of charge. All rooms in separate facility Koten have their own open-air baths. The pavilion has five private open-air baths for free sunbathing. There are different types of hot springs to relax. You can feel the unique local history and culture, but also be close to nature and enjoy the food. The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, the service is thoughtful, the facilities are complete, clean and comfortable, and the environment is comfortable. Please come with your family and friends to spend leisure time together. We look forward to your visit and we will be happy to help you.

A very nice hotel, with few people and very quiet, suitable for self-cultivation, but the facilities are a bit old but it does not affect the use. The service staff inside introduced each floor enthusiastically. I was unable to make a reservation for breakfast in the morning and had to walk more than 10 minutes to eat there.
Overall, the hot spring is very comfortable and clean.

The owner used to live in US and is able to explain the interesting customs of Japanese inn culture. Here, you can get back to basics; rest, hike the surrounding hills.
