The public hot spring was great and the view was amazing. Though it was public, the room can be locked whenever in use so we can enjoyed it privately. The private hot spring in the room was also good. The dinner was amazing and the staff were helpful, they were not fluent in English but they tried their best to serve us. The location was not very convenient though it is highly receommended to reserve shuttle service from the hotel to the bus stop.

My family of three stayed here from August 17th. (Room) We stayed in the Sakura room. It was new, well-cleaned, and a lovely room. The cherry blossom-colored Ryukyu tatami mats were stylish and comfortable. The living room was a little small compared to the other rooms, but it was enough for the three of us. (Meals) All of the kaiseki dishes were delicious and satisfying, but I especially liked the soba noodles with cashew nuts. I even went back the next day to Kachi Soba, a group store. The sweetfish rice was a rice dish. I thought I might not like it, but it was delicious, and they made the leftovers into onigiri. (Service) They were all kind and kept a reasonable distance from me, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. Everyone remembered our names, what we talked about, and our hobbies and preferences, so we were able to spend a comfortable time. (Bath) I thought the open-air bath in the room would be too hot, but it was just right when I actually went in. Yesterday, when I opened the door, it became an open-air bath with a sense of openness. It was clean and comfortable. It was a little inconvenient that there was no water tap within reach so we could fill the bath with water if the water temperature was not to our liking. We used the private bath about four times during our stay. We were worried about having to wait, but we were able to use it freely with almost no wait. The outdoor floor of Kangetsu-no-Yu was a little dirty and there were spider webs on the chairs, which could be improved a little. Overall, it was a great place to stay that was well worth the price, and we think it was the best in Shima Onsen. Highly recommended.

I am a repeat customer. A very comfortable inn. A great place to stay where you can enjoy yourself to the fullest. I will definitely be back. The meal was a sukiyaki course, and the portions were so big I was sure I would burst. The bath in the room had just been renovated, so it was very clean and had a relaxing woody scent.
