Wonderful stay at this Ryokan. Staff was very friendly and our kids loved it so much they wanted to come back as soon as possible. Dinner and breakfast was also delicious. Would definitely return in the future.

I can’t say enough about how lovely this property is! Clean, easy to get to with public transportation and the staff is very accommodating and friendly! The bath is amazing! If you are adventurous in dining i recommend getting dinner included! Everything was wonderful! I will definitely return!

First of all, I arrived an hour earlier than the 3 o'clock check-in time, and when I went inside, it was pitch black and there was no one there. I killed 30 minutes in the rain and parked my car at 2.30, and they said, "You can't go inside until 3 o'clock, I'll lend you an umbrella somewhere." There was nothing around and it was really inconvenient in the pouring rain. I didn't need to be able to check in, but I wish they'd at least let me inside the inn. This is the first time I've ever been to such an inn 💢 It seems like everything is being moved at the inn's own convenient timing. The hot spring itself is as you'd expect from Shima Onsen! It's very wonderful. Next time I'll look for a different inn. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
