Nice hotel. More upmarket than others. Very clean and offers a good service. I would recommend they do some more maintenance however, especially with the men’s steam room. It’s quite run down.

The heron hotel is the the place to stay if you want a real feel for the warmth & charm of Nairobi & its people instead of a cold impersonal hotel. The owners & staff make you feel like part of their family and give wonderful support in every need of your visit ex. tours.& transportation. They speak very good English and their breakfast & coffee are excellent and will accommodate any request if possible. We stayed at 3 hotels in Nairobi and this one was our favorite for its peaceful and gracious atmosphere. The location is very amazing and the security is something to smile about. Wesley was very supportive, helpful and very efficient. Great hotel in Nairobi.

A Fantastic Experience at The Heron Hotel! Our stay at The Heron Hotel was truly amazing! The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, making our experience even more enjoyable. The front office team was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options, and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to Joy from the sales team, who not only booked our stay but also took the time to check in with us for feedback. Her warm smile showed how much she truly enjoys her work. Had an amazing lunch meeting at the Heron Hotel with 80 guests in attendance. The meal was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm, with the staff being incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to GM and Joy for being such gracious hosts. The hospitality was top-notch, making it an ideal venue for events like luncheons, breakfasts, and dinners. I had an lovely stay here, the check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff especially Joy was exceptionally friendly and accommodative. The room was comfortable and spacious. They also offered a delicious valentine dine and breakfast the following morning. My fiance and I are definitely coming back here.

Checking was quick and we asked for a room with the view of the city/playing field but the receptionist said it’s very noisy as there’s work going on. We were 3 adults in the room and it was very cramped as we had a lot of luggage. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. No recommended. The twin beds were good. The room was clean and had a balcony that faced another building so no great. The kitchenette was not equipped so we had to wait for cutlery and crockery to be delivered. We had food delivered and it was very easy. Breakfast was basic food but it was okay for us. There was a selection of fresh juice, cereal, cooked food and breads plus fresh pancakes and eqq counter. Service was good and staff were attentive and friendly. Upon checking out I mentioned to the receptionist about the bed sitter and view and she immediately spoke to the manager who promptly came to meet us and was very apologetic and even offered us another room with a view and a bigger suite. So I checked out feeling very happy that the team are working very hard on their customer service and satisfaction. I would highly recommend the manager and all his team.
