Excellent hotel. Abit far from the city centre but it had an amazing environment surrounded by nature. The rooms were massive. The overall experience was great! The gym could been better on the other hand the pool was lovely.

The Hemingways is a beautiful property in Nairobi. In a gated area it is very safe, peaceful, and a bit of time travel to when traveling was fun and unique. The hotel knows it's roots and from incredible service from 24 hrs butlers to good that is wonderful you can't go wrong. We discovered The Bar on the second floor. On a Sunday night, we had it to ourselves. Victor, their award winning bartender, makes amazing drinks including the Hemingways Ronin which I highly recommend. Victor took great care of us and made our stay delightful. I highly recommend the hotel and staff for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

One of the best brunches on a Sunday chill vibe that i would definitely recommend. Friendly staff namely Gibson and Gerald, they are the ones who took care of us. The brunch ends at 4 pm so you should keep that in mind. The only negative comment i have about the place is that the staff are a bit pushy in pouring drinks. Overall the property is well kept and clean with a beautiful fountain and some nice trees which makes you feel like the air you are breathing is different from the usual one in Nairobi CBD .

The best hotel I have ever stayed at. There is a warm welcome from the time you arrive until the time you leave. The staff are friendly and efficient - nothing is too much trouble - we arrived very early in the morning, several hours before check in time, and a room was made available to us hours before official check in which we were very grateful for. The hotel is clean and very charming with plenty of staff. This is our first visit to Kenya and it has been an incredible experience. Very sad to leave but hoping to visit again soon

What an experience. From our greeting at pick up, reception, butler service, spa and dining, Hemingways is exceptional in every way. The surrounding gardens are peaceful, pool is fabulous and the staff are so helpful. The suite was spacious, spotless and so comfortable. After touring and game drives on our first visit to Africa this was the icing on the cake before a long flight home to Australia. Thankyou.

Fabulous hotel in outskirts of Nairobi. Loved our huge room, beautiful grounds, excellent service, great food, lovely bar and warm staff. It was the perfect place to recover from our long flight MIA-LHR-Nairobi giving us a chance to rest and relax before going on your our safari camps in the Masai Mara

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff! When our luggage did not arrive before our safari, Evans picked us up from the airport, took us shopping two days in a row to get needed supplies, took us on a half day tour which was great as everyone knows him! We felt lots of special treatment! He is the kindest person and so helpful! The hotel is beautiful, the grounds immaculate, food was very good! Everyone was so willing to help us as we didn’t have luggage! Thank you for making our stay so special! We will stay here if ever in Nairobi again! Thank you Evans for everything!

This is the nicest place we have ever stayed and we’ve stayed in many places all around the United States. Everyone working at this hotel are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful , peaceful environment that makes one want to stay here the whole time and not go anywhere else. I am not exaggerating in the quality of food and care we have been given at Hemingway. If we ever return to Nairobi this is the only place we’d want to stay.

I only went to the restaurant and I it. I took a burger and Mac and cheese and they were a chefs kiss . It was my brothers birthday and he got a cake and it was amazing. If you want to have a birthday this is the place to go I would recommend.!!!!!!
