Waridi Paradise Hotel and Suites

Pros * Wide, clean room * Moderate price Cons * Airport transfer / I requested the airport pick-up. I was received by a different driver at the airport from the one informed by the hotel. I refused to take a ride and used the airport taxi. Later, I was told that the driver had sub-hired another car to pick me up. * Hot water / When I used the shower at night, there was no hot water at all yet it was very cold. I informed the receptionist to work on it tomorrow. I got hot water but only for a very short time, I had to continue the shower with cold water.

What shall I say..... My first stay in Waridi and loved every moment! The staff were very accommodating. The food was good and the rooms were clean and specious. Value for money and location is convenient. A definite recommendation!

This place is more than I expected. The apar**ents are huge. The food is good. The staff are friendly particularly Eric at reception. The hotel has a sort of party a**osphere by the pool but perfect for all ages Its a cosy and open minded place to stay. I recommend staying here to anyone. I wish I could stay one more night

The team at Waridi were wonderful, super helpful, and very attentive. Betty at the restaurant was especially friendly in the morning and made for a nice start to the day as we grabbed our coffee and tea I appreciated that they made sure to give us rooms that had bathtubs when I called to make the request and the water pressure and temperature were perfect and made relaxing after a long day at the expo really nice! I would stay here again just for that! There are only two things that I would change: 1. The mattresses are REALLY firm. I requested they bring a duvet or something to make it softer, they stacked two mattress pads and it was still too firm, I ended up sleeping on top of my pillows 2. There is no heat or AC in the room nor is there a ceiling fan. If I left the window open mosquitoes would come in, if I kept it closed the room would get quite hot and stagnant. This was fixed when I requested a fan be brought to my room and they promptly brought one but I imagine they likely may not have enough fans for all of the rooms and perhaps on really cold days the rooms may be hard to warm up in (unless you take a bath of course). Overall there's a chance I would book here again but I would be a bit hesitant simply because of the really firm mattresses. This is something to keep in mind if you have hip or back issues and can't sleep on a super firm mattress.

Very spacious accommodation suitable for a family, very clean rooms but the bathrooms are very old and need updating. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Seems the quality has gone down quite a bit; for the price I would have expected nicer accommodations. Staff were not very friendly and unhelpful at times. ] It was often very loud at night, I was without hot water for a couple days, and bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet was okay.

The hotel was well designed hotel. I stayed in a spacious room with kitchen, lounge, dining and balcony. Some re- habilitation/renovation needed as hotel is not new - later moved to single room as I was not using all the facilities. There were mosquitos each night as the windows are not meshed Buffet is served when there is a workshop going on. The lunch and dinner were good depending on what you choose . Sometimes fresh juice was available Otherwise, the hotel is well located and close to shopping centers within working distance. Staff at the gate, reception, dining and house keeping were professional and polite

I was put in a suite which was like a one bedroom apar**ent--it had a kitchen, living room and dining area, plus a bedroom with a bathroom. A great luxury for one person! However, the suite had no air conditioning so it was very uncomfortable at night to sleep. I was then moved to a standard room with AC when it became available. The hotel staff was very nice in accommodating my request. Overall, it was a great value for money. The hotel is located in a relatively quiet street/neighborhood but was also walking distance to a few places to eat.
