The hotel has a very relaxed feel and is an ideal stopover for travellers arriving in Nairobi from JKIA before continuing their trip via Wilson airstrip. I walked to Wilson from the hotel!
This was my second stay and the staff are all super nice. Specisl mention to Richard the Arsenal fan on reception

A beautiful place to visit with delicious meals and comfortable and spacious room. Clean environment with friendly employees. Very accessible from the capital city and Jomo Kenyatta international airport.

This place defines “service with a smile” - from checkin to the amazing breakfast and lunch buffets and delightful dinners at Tamambo restaurant or poolside hang (where if you’re lucky you’ll get to know the ever effervescent Evelyn. She is the best!) to the gorgeous drinks in the Dawa Lounge where David and Jimmy will show you true passion and the artistry of making the perfect drink.(Try the Whisky Smash - get your blueberries! Have two! it’s good for you!) The Tamarin is a stunning and continuous delight of art and design, but most impressive is the service. At every turn, I felt someone literally going out of their way to- literally literally - make every day and night begin and end with a smile. It may sound trite, but it felt like home - I was so exhausted and upside down after the 14 hour flight and two sleepless nights before, but the moment I arrived, all i wanted to do was stay awake to savor every moment. But don’t worry - the rooms were sparkling clean and the beds were just right. This Must Be the Place.

What a great start to our safari. Wonderful friendly staff. very knowledgeable and just nice to be around and talk to it is a very good location for day trip to Sheldrick Wildlife, giraffe Centre and in the afternoon Bombas to see cultural dancers and baboons and warthogs. Wendy on the front desk and Evelyn in the restaurant are great ambassadors for the hotel, and Kenya. Also a 2 minute walk to Carnivore restaurant.

Our server Evelyn was attentive, kind, and welcoming. I really enjoyed the Ugali and greens, along with the wide variety of BBQ meats. The food was great and served buffet style so I could get more of my favorites. Would definitely come again.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The atmosphere is wonderful, the rooms are immaculate, and everyone is so friendly!! The food was delicious, live music was playing, and our waitress Evelyn was amazing!! Highly recommend staying here!!

The staff, especially Evelyn, were very responsive. Breakfast everyday was a huge array of food. Omelets made to order were my favorite! When we had no internet in one room, they promptly moved us to another. We stayed four nights, and housekeeping did a great job!

We arrived in Nairobi after 17 hours of flying and all our travel anxieties disappeared when we were delivered to the Tamarind Tree Hotel. A beautiful, comfortable and hospitable hotel in Nairobi. The staff throughout the hotel is welcoming and efficient in particular Evelyn in the Tamanbo restaurant were so great!! Such a welcoming beginning to our Kenyan adventure!! Highly recommended!!!
