This hotel is discriminatory to foreign travelers. There is no hot water kettle, no air conditioner, no daily cleaning. Their price is double that of other similar hotels who do happily welcome foreign guests. Their management claimed it was an issue with local rules which obviously was a lie because other better and very close by hotels in nainital (on the lake) happily accepted us for half the price. Customer service is a big zero here.

services are good, staff are also very supportive, but there are too many stairs so this hotel is not for senior citizens and one more thing the "Deluxe rooms lake view" were small but it were shown bigger in make my trip app.

One complaint tough, the washrooms please don’t fold towels into floor mats, use the real ones.

Prices are very High for the Delux rooms. Bathrooms are very small and rooms are as well. Rooms are not upgraded. 60 plus straiers to reach the hotel. The only good thing is the opposite of the lake.

During my family trip to nainital, we had a wonderful experience staying at mcmarcus. The hotel staff was exceptionally well-behaved, polite, and always soft-spoken. Their hospitality was truly commendable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Whenever we needed assistance, they responded within just a minute or two, ensuring our comfort at all times.
