Our experience at hotel himalaya was mixed. While the location is great and it offers convenient parking, the staff were not as welcoming or polite as expected, which left a less-than-ideal impression. The rooms were decent and provided the basics for a comfortable stay. We didn’t try the food at the hotel since there are plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it’s an average stay, but the service could be improved.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to those going to Nainital with family . The staff are very polite and cooperative. Rooms are spacious and the aesthetics of the hotel are well maintained. Beautiful place, excellent food, very helpful and accommodating staff. Our reservation included buffet dinner, but they gave food to us in the room for special request. The room had a slight damp smell, i guess we travel-led very close to monsoon. The cleanliness was par excellence.
