Hilton Puckrup Hall Hotel & Golf Club, Tewkesbury

We stayed here overnight and it was lovely. We stayed in the Manor House deluxe room and wow. The bed was super comfy, and so so so big. we had a coffee machine with all accessories to have a hot drink included. They added a complimentary box of chocolates, 2 x shortbreads biscuits, sparkling and still water and one small bottle of Prosecco. The manor house was lovely as downstairs had communal sitting inside and outside. We didn’t visit the restaurant as we ate out. The bar is lovely and not too overly priced in my opinion. There’s lots of outdoor seating which is lovely on a summers day. Staff were friendly and approachable. We used the pool and spa facilities which were lovely. Pool was great however, not enough loungers around the pool for people to use. Breakfast was delicious, a lot choice, from home made waffles, to deli foods, to hot cooked breakfasts to continental foods. All in all, a very nice stay and I would definitely visit here again.

Stayed there for one night. Nice and large room and very nice hotel surrounding. Good restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast offered many good choices except the coffee which was not great . Golf course available right at the hotel. Overall very nice place to stay in Tewkesbury!

We drove round this place not so long ago & I’ve wanted to stay ever since. Gorgeous, old fashioned & very relaxed hotel & grounds. There’s plenty of little quirks to spot in the grounds even if you aren’t in to golf (which is relaxing to watch btw) outdoor tables with games imprinted, a little hen hotel, a little croquet set.. Although we stayed in the main hotel, we had a little look round the Manor House which was enchanting with its sewing machine, old fashioned radio etc. The hotel itself was beautiful - even more so at this time of year with the many Christmas trees & decorations. The room is quite old fashioned - I know my other 1/2 likes more modern, but I found it charming. We were given a can of water each which was nice, but could have been kept colder in a fridge beforehand. Being diamond members, we got to use the ‘Hub’ with some free food and coffee - although it wasn’t as good as a full on lounge with alcohol, it was still a nice touch & enjoyable. Breakfast was lovely, one of the best at a Hilton, as the Full English was freshly cooked and served rather than the normal buffet style.. you could help yourself to other bits as well. Felt very relaxed there. The pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi all lovely - I managed to squeeze this in before checking out. The only slight criticism would be to let a guest know if an aqua class is on when you want to swim. I managed to get my swim in, but might be useful to some guests. All in all, a beautiful, relaxed stay with friendly staff. I know my mum & dad would love this one!

We previously stayed here about 10 years ago, and the rooms were getting a little rough around the edges then. Fast forward and it’s still the same. The reception area is beautiful, but that’s where it ends. That said, it is priced accordingly, and therefore we can’t really complain. As a Diamond member we got a fabulous upgrade to a room with a balcony. Really quirky shape, and very comfortable, as we have come to expect in Hilton. The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast room allows you to sit outside overlooking the golf course. Breakfast options and service were great. We had a meal in the bar during our stay. We paid top dollar for a couple of steaks and a decent bottle of wine. This was a tad disappointing, the quality of the food and wine didn’t really represent the cost. Also the service was iffy - after sitting for about 10 mins with the servers ignoring us we realised that you had to order and pay at the bar with your table number. Even Weatherspoons has moved away from this model now! We look forward to returning to Tewksbury and Puckrup in the future - but give the place a good dusting and clean the windows please!

Where to start? Poor booking system had us down for only one night, instead of two. Room had stained curtains and carpet. Bathroom had separate taps for hot and cold water, very close to the basin edge, so making filling the kettle difficult. No power sockets near the bed. No air conditioning that I could find. A hotel of faded grandeur (if it ever had any). A noisy bar, with a poor selection of zero percent beers. Awful breakfast - must have had problems with all the ovens - bacon undercooked. Croissants undercooked. Just not good. This, I believe, is one of Hilton’s premier hotels. At least you would think so from the price. Give me a Premier or Holiday Inn any time - a much better experience for a small fraction of the price.

Generally happy with Hilton but with an upgrade and very hard bed and poor cleaning was not up to usual standard. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection and pub and staff quite friendly. Minor things annoying like general cleanliness and mud in carpark which could not be avoided in the disabled bays. Otherwise pretty average.

Came here for a business conference. We completed all the relevant paperwork, including dietary requirements for breakfast and lunch, and also coffee / pastries. Very disappointed that our gluten-free and fat free staff were not catered for. Also, the dining room was completely inappropriate for the number of people. There were not enough seats for everyone, and what seats there were where a very strange antisocial layout. There was also very little choice in the lunch buffet - basically spicy, which if you didn’t like there was no alternative. Will not be recommending this to anyone!

I booked this hotel I'm particular as it seemed like a secluded option rather then a city hotel and it was the right choice! Grounds and buildings ate beautiful and a grand place to stay. Room had 2 double beds and a small balcony overlooking the golf course and was so, so peaceful. Exactly what we wanted for the weekend. Used the gym, pool and steam room. Sat around the lobby reading a book. Used the restaurant on both nights, food was okay, but service was wonderful, especially from out Server (wasnt wearing a name badge but know he was from Croydon, as were were visiting from London). Breakfast was a winner in both selection and quality and Vlad was there both mornings so welcomed with a smile. If we weren't already Married, I'd want to get Married here! We walked through the Manor House and it's Beautiful, what a setting for a Wedding. We will be returning soon. For sure
