If there is anyone who makes a reservation because it is cheap, I am writing this for the public interest because you may ruin your travel experience with a service that is lower than the cheap price. On June 20, 2025, I was treated very rudely and discriminatoryly when I tried to check in at CABIN&HOTEL CONSTANT NAHA in Okinawa. In retaliation, the staff member intentionally gave me the key to the male-only floor even though I am a woman, and I could not enter the women's bathroom, so I had to get help from another person to shower. ✅ The situation at the time • After returning the rental car, I arrived at the hotel dragging my luggage for about 20 minutes in the hot weather. • When I tried to take out my passport at the front desk, the staff member instructed me to use the kiosk. • When I tried to check in at the kiosk, they repeatedly asked me something in Japanese, so I waved my hand near my ear and said that I had difficulty hearing Japanese. • While using the kiosk, it did not recognize the reservation number and name, so I tried several times. • The reservation number had to be entered only in numbers, excluding English letters from the Trip.com code, • The name could only be recognized if the order of the input (first/last name) was changed. • This is a structure that is difficult to understand without the staff's guidance, and it is a system that is difficult for customers to solve on their own. • I asked for help when there was a problem, but the staff member intentionally ignored me from then on. • I repeatedly said that I was checking in, and showed them in Japanese using a translator, "What information do you need?" • Despite this, the staff member ignored me and did not provide any guidance. • I politely asked again after all other customers had checked in, but I was still ignored. • In particular, when I showed them my passport and tried to explain my reservation, the staff member sarcastically spoke in Japanese and refused to respond. • In the end, I called a Japanese friend and asked for an interpreter, and I was finally able to complete the check-in. • I showed them my request using a translator, waited until there were no other customers checking in, and asked them again, but they said that I could not help them because I did not say anything, and that I was a nuisance to other customers who checked in. Even though I had never responded in English, they lied and said that I did not respond even when I responded in English. • The reason he did that was not because I didn’t really convey my request, but because he felt bad because he thought I ignored him when I tried to register at the kiosk. As a result, I almost couldn’t check in because I couldn’t accommodate his mood. He told his friend that he felt bad when I showed him my inquiry on the translator since I don’t speak Japanese. Should I have practiced my Japanese? ✅ Problems with this situation • The staff didn’t make any effort to communicate in a foreign language and ignored my request for translation. • They intentionally ignored the customer, which clearly violated service ethics. • The lack of structural guidance in the system for foreigners is also serious. ✅ What I felt as a customer • The consistent unresponsiveness despite repeated requests for help was very insulting. • This incident became the last memory of my trip to Japan, and I will never use this hotel again. • I plan to formally report this to the Tourism Agency and the reservation platform. I hope that there will be no more victims like me. At least it could have been a situation where there was a misunderstanding between both parties, but the employee's response was ultimately one that made me think again about Japan, as he assumed that he had been ignored and ignored the other person's continued requests.

The location is good, right outside the shopping street, which has shelter from the rain and delicious food. The transportation is also good, 10 minutes walk from the monorail and 5 minutes from the bus. The accommodation environment is good, the bed is very soft and comfortable, and the cat in the store is very cute and not afraid of strangers.
