Our stay at OMO5 Okinawa Naha by Hoshino Resort offered a unique blend of modern design and cultural immersion. However, there are areas that could be enhanced for a better guest experience. The resort would benefit from additional parking spaces and a more varied breakfast menu, which was predominantly bread-focused during our visit. The cultural activities available in the lobby, such as guided tours, provided a deeply engaging and immersive experience, adding significant value to our stay.
On the downside, the transitional space for removing shoes was cramped, which made the movement from the entrance to the tatami area somewhat uncomfortable. While the large sofa area is stylishly designed in a modern Japanese aesthetic, the absence of a coffee table was noticeable and impacted the functionality of the space. Room for luggage was also limited, reminiscent of compact Tokyo business hotels. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, highlighted by the cultural engagement opportunities the resort offers.

Rooms are quite clean, but location is around 10-15 minutes walk from the station. And its lacking 1 amenitie which is important to me like sleepwear where you have to rent it for 200 JPY based on a honor system.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff is super nice. The breakfast set bread tastes great and there are free drinks in the lobby. I will consider staying here next time and recommend it to my friends.

For self-driving tours, you can use the electric taxi parking lot next to the hotel. It costs 1,500 yen per night.
