OKINAWA NAHANA HOTEL&SPA

Naha City Centre Naha|0.25km from Familymart(Naha Shiyakushomae Shop)
After researching thoroughly for our anniversary/babymoon, we were happy this hotel was close to the bus terminal as well as downtown area with all the restaurants (roughly 15-20 mins). Hotel also came with detergent (for a fee) to use in their washer/dryer. Now the downside - this hotel can't possibly be a 4 star hotel, DO NOT fall for it. The hotel lobby is dated as is the room. We booked a double room/suite that's supposed to come with a double bed and view. Instead, we got a room with sofa and 2 twin beds facing a hotel with a smiley face and the sea somewhere in the back. So for the first night since it was late, we squeezed into 1 bed. On the second day, I went to the front and told them what we had booked and asked if they can change our room because I had paid a higher rate. What ended up happening is they pushed the 2 beds together and Voila! Now we get a ”double bed” with a crack in the middle. Luckily we only had 2 nights of this left, my poor husband slept in the crack of this hard AF bed. The bed was old and excruciatingly painful. My husband couldn't believe how hard the bed was! We contemplated sleeping on the floor if it wasn't so dirty and we had thicker blankets. Imagine being 25 weeks pregnant and having to sleep on your side on such a hard bed - my back, hips and shoulders were sore for days after leaving Okinawa. I thought the pain was from being pregnant until it resolved as we continued our trip and ended up in a different hotel. I have never slept on such a hard bed - and I've slept in hostels, shared beds with multiple friends, and had slept on cracks numerous times during my travel. By far, this has been THE WORST experience. I've also been more comfortable on a motel 6 bed. So do yourself a favor. Don't stay here unless it's cheaper than any 1 star hotel you see around. It'll likely be a more comfortable stay for much cheaper.

Smart Condo Tomari

Naha City Centre Naha|1.37km from Familymart(Naha Shiyakushomae Shop)
6 km / 15 min / 1470 yen by taxi from the airport. Although Naha itself is very built up so kind of just like any other nondescript Japanese city albeit with interesting vegetation, it's a convenient location with lots of food options. The condo itself is right next to a Shell gas station with an adjacent Family Mart. There are 3 apartments per floor at this rather new-looking 10-storey building and the reception is downstairs from 9 am -7 pm plus a number to call outside these hours, very courteous with badly translated English instructions. We stayed 10 nights and room was scheduled to be cleaned every 3 days. Room key also opens the door to trash/recycle area outside. Basically you get a 30 m2 studio apartment with a spacious balcony where you can see the ferry terminal and a bit of the ocean & a small dining space plus all the amenities, new and spotlessly clean with a washer/dryer & shower/bath tub. Everything you can probably think of is provided, including cooking utensils & a separate washlet toilet - even Netflix on TV! AC & WIFI work well although you can also get a SIM card at the airport vending machine to help you navigate the small streets with Google Maps: 4000 yen for 10 days unlimited data or 3500 yen for 1.2 GB over 30 days. Our double bed was comfy but quite narrow, barely any movement possible for 2 adults - manageable for us but definitely think twice if you're a bigger couple or maybe consider twin beds. Very quiet inside. Less than 15 minutes to walk to Kokusaidori 国際通り shopping street with loads of shops (24-hour Don Quijote + drugstores) & restaurants but also plenty of enticing eateries within a short walk from the condo スマートコンド泊. Naha Main Place mall サンエー那覇メインブレイス , which has Cinemas Q & Tokyu Hands + LUPICIA tea, is under 20 minutes on foot. Closest beach might be Naminoue Beach, 25 minutes on foot. It's just a 5-minute walk to Tomari Port ferry terminal とまりん where you can get to the Kerama Islands in 50 minutes (Zamami highly recommend) or Tokashiki Island in 35 minutes - best check JMA website for potential high wave warnings. About 10 minutes to walk to Miebashi monorail station to the airport or Shuri Castle. This condo is best if you're planning day trips to the surrounding islands and don't mind walking a bit to the main shopping areas. Buses are fairly convenient with stops written out in romaji/English. 40 minutes / 600-650 yen by bus to American Village from the port - lots of buses go by the stop out front. Chinese Didi app works for taxis too (70 yen per 365 m plus 560 yen for the initial 1.75 km; can pay by cash if no Chinese ID). If you are not driving, there's a Hip Hop Bus / Jumbo Tour office (M-F 9-6 or book online) 10 minutes away where you can book daytrips for under 6000 yen & the closest pickup spot is 'Okinawa Kariyushi Urban Resort Naha' 沖縄かりゆしアーバンリゾート・ナハ next to Tomarin, basically the same building, but pickup is actually closer to the park.

Location and cospa are the best. Even if there are many foreigners, the private spaces on the 3rd to 5th floors are quiet. Sheets and rooms are clean. The dormitory is very cheap, but if you need privacy, I recommend choosing a twin room. You can also rent a bicycle. You can use the microwave, toaster, kettle, tableware, and refrigerator in the large shared space, and you can buy juice and beer from the vending machines. Wi-Fi and a computer are provided. No TV or elevator. Rinse-in shampoo and body soap are available, and amenities can be purchased for an additional fee, but we recommend bringing your own.

Location is 5 minutes walk from the monorail station (about 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes walk to Kokusai) with restaurants and convenience stores near by. I stayed for a night in the female dormitory. There is a flight of stairs up to the dorms but the staff kindly offered to help with it. Password is required to enter the dorm. The linens were already on the bed, which was enclosed by a curtain. There was a night lamp, electric sockets and 2 hooks in my bunk bed. A locker is provided which managed to fit my 26 inch suitcase. A towel and slippers can be found in the locker too. The shower facility was clean, with toiletries provided. Water ran hot quickly with good pressure. The common area outside the toilet had hairdryers, but the area was a tad dirty since people weren't really cleaning up after themselves. Soundproofing is non existent so this may not work if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, I highly recommend for the good value!
Toyoko Inn Okinawa Naha Asahibashi Ekimae

We stayed for sightseeing. It is called Asahibashi Station Mae, but I walked for less than 5 minutes after I went out to the west exit of Asahibashi Station. Also, when crossing the pedestrian crossing to the hotel, I think it's hard if there are big luggage such as carry case. I didn't feel dissatisfied with the single room I used. It was a clean and comfortable space and I was able to rest well until the morning. I think it was good to use it because of the response of the front desk. While I came back from my outing and was disinfecting my hands and folding my umbrella, I took out the key to my room and gave it to me at the time of calling. It was an episode that thanked the speed and accuracy of the work and the thoughtful response. Breakfast was the lobby on the first floor from 6:30 in the morning. It was a form of eating with a plate already served with side dishes. Recently, I had a stay experience at other Toyoko Inn and compared it, and it was surprising that it was not a lunch box form considering the situation recently, and it was felt that it was not unified.

Located in the center of Naha, close to business district, monorail station and international street, it is very easy to act in rich! !! I'm glad that breakfast is free! It was just right because I ate lightly before work 🎵 Welcome drink is also a nice service !! The room is small but clean, and even a single desk is large, so I could use it as 💻 wide 々 when I worked lightly in the room ☺️ The bed is also a comfortable size, softness and just right. The window is also considered for privacy that was wide 々! I opened the curtain and was able to wake up while feeling Okinawa Asahi ☀️ ^_^ I think it is recommended for the business scene because I can spend time without having a paid TV. Especially young businessman ‼️ I will definitely use it again! !!

It is difficult to say in general because the price is fluctuating, but when I stayed, it was very cheap in the season of September (although the typhoon was approaching). It was a little more than a capsule hotel It was very good value for money. It was close to the prefectural office, and it was convenient to walk to the international street, and it was close to the monorail station. Some people seem to point out the problem of cooler and dust in the room, but I didn't care so much and most of all, the capsule hotel was hot and hard to sleep, but the room was properly compared to the room (loft 2 floor) It was comfortable and the cooler was effective. It depends on the price, but I want to use it again. On the other hand, the capsule hotel is punishable.
