Hotels near Takinomizuminami Park in Nagoya

I think it was a former 々 love hotel, but there are a lot of cartoons and beautiful rooms in the building. The bed height is low in the cushion floor in the room, so when staying with children, there is little worry about what to do if the child falls from the bed, and it is very safe.

This hotel is a few years old, the equipment is relatively old, the service still maintains the consistent Japanese level, it is very close to the JR name and station, the price is not expensive and it is early, and the price is good

It is located in the suburbs of Nagoya so it is far from the center. The room is a general business hotel type. Adjacent super public baths are available for free, and you can get a drink ticket (equivalent to 700 yen) and a relaxation discount ticket (500 yen) available at the restaurant at the time of hotel check-in. Super public bath is available from 6 a.m. on check-in day and can be used from 6 a.m. the next morning. Parking is free. If you only stay at night, there is a feeling of high price, but it is recommended when there is a lot of time on the day of accommodation.

I booked a room from 12/28/23 to 01/08/24. I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University. The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough. My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome! I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough! I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel! A wonderful 3 level grocery/depar**ent store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that. Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s . Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!! If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own. I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! The price is reasonable, the room size is moderate, but the place to put clothes is lacking; the breakfast is quite rich, the best is that there is a large bath, and there is a large and chic rest room, full of comic books (Japanese); There is a big supermarket and drug bureau next to it, but it is located in a residential area, there are no restaurants, but there are a lot of parking spaces, which is very suitable for our self-driving tour.

Love the location, just above the train station. Service is excellent, left luggage is super easy. Only drawback is it doesn’t have a public bath

I entered the room with a card key, but it was not operated well at the front desk (?) I couldn't enter even if I touched it many times, so when I asked the front desk I responded immediately. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of 々.

I stayed with my 13-year-old daughter. I see a hotel with free sleeping under 12 years old at 々, but it was very helpful because it was not free to sleep under 18 years old, and the room rate of the former 々 was also cheap. I'm already a big daughter, but it was comfortable because it was a double bed with ample size for adults ２ people. Adult pajamas are provided, but children's pajamas are not rented, so you need to bring them (I accidentally forgot ... children's pillows and bath towels should be lent at the reception. is. ) I forgot the smartphone charger, but since the room is equipped with various insertions, it was helpful to be able to charge the smartphone and mobile battery. (２ can't charge at the same time). The room was clean, and it was a ２ minute walk from Sakae Station, and there was a 7-Eleven below, which was very convenient, so I would like to use it again when I go to Nagoya.

As a female solo traveler, I wanted a safe yet authentic Ryokan experience in the city center. This was it! A very nice older couple, a very very clean place. Right next door there is a traditional public indoor bath, which adds more flavor to the experience. Yes, the facilities are a bit old, but I felt clean & the things I need are all there. But yea, gotta keep it super quiet, you can hear ppl going up & downstair, etc, also I booked the room had to share the toilet. I think it's a good location because it's close to the big shrine I wanted to check out, and also a direct fast train nearby to the airport. For dinner options, recommend this cool old town style place also very nearby, Kanayama Komachi.

Great hotel. We booked with the breakfast option. Best breakfast buffet around with several American & Japanese items. We had a room with 2 twin beds. Beds were much wider than U.S. twin beds and could easily sleep 2 little kids. Room also had couch, table, 2 LR type chairs, drawers for clothes, safe, coffee/tea, hair dryer, robes, shampoo, conditioner & soap. Bathroom had packaged combs, razor, toothbrushes & other toiletries. Hotel was located next to train station so it was easy to get around. We could not hear trains or traffic. If you go through the train station and turn left, there is an outdoor shopping mall with several restaurants. We ate there as the hotel was expensive for lunch/dinner.
