GGuest User 2021.12.28
The hotel is well situated across from a convenience store and exit no. 1 to Chikusa subway, which connects to both JR Chuo line and Higashiyama line. Whilst the hotel is known for weddings, and an established hotel offering only a restaurant, it lacks in other areas of convenience and upkeep. The vending machine in the lobby was out of service, with the next being located outside of the hotel in the parking lot along with the designated smoking area. From the offset, it is aged, and whilst the lobby seems to be kept clean, the western standard smoking room on the 5th floor was shabby, with many signs of wear and tear, stains, and in need of a renewal. In comparison with other hotels of the same level, this hotel is sub-par with the rooms requiring an upgrade. Inside the room, a complimentary bottle of water is provided. The old desk had one inbuilt power outlet in a position not practical for laptop chargers. Everything is rundown with visible markings from the furnishings, walls and carpets, to the toilet-shower unit. The wifi was not working, so the front desk staff changed me to the next room where connectivity was working, but the condition was identical. The room windows cannot be opened, and whilst the temperature of air conditioning can be changed, the room becomes unpleasantly stuffy and dry, especially in the winter season. Surprisingly, for a smoking room, it does not have an air purifier/humidifier unit which is an inexpensive yet effective method to improve the air condition. In its current state, I can’t imagine holding a wedding and inviting guests to stay. Overall, this hotel has potential with renovation, but until then, I would not stay here again.

GGuest User 2024.03.10
We were looking for a large room with 3 adults and 1 child, so we chose it because it seemed good. My child loved it so much because there were so many dolls. There is no phone in the room, so you have to use Alexa to call the front desk if you have any problems or questions, but I think it will be difficult for foreigners to stay. It would be better if you go with someone who is good at Japanese. The room was spacious and had a microwave, a toast machine, a coffee pot, and a coffee machine, so it was nice to just have toast and coffee in the morning and then go out. The refrigerator seems to be large for a Japanese size, and since it was recently built, it is clean. When returning to the hotel at night, be careful around your surroundings. The surrounding environment was bad. It's so noisy when you sleep that it's not good for people who are hard of hearing at night... But I walk 20,000 steps every day while I'm traveling, so I can't hear the noise when I sleep.

One of the best stays I’ve had in Nagoya— clean, budget friendly, accessible and convenient!!! I have been looking for a place which is near Hisaya-Odori because it’s very accessible and there are different shops to explore, of course, restaurants to visit. One of which is Nagoya’s very popular “SEKAI NO YAMACHAN” — Nagoya’s best chicken wings. There are a lot of Sekai no Yamachan shops around this hotel, and they offer coupons for restaurants to try as well. If your a foodie and a shopaholic like me, then you’ll love this place!

Very good, very satisfied. It is only one subway stop away from Nagoya Station (only three bus stops in front of the door). Very new, clean, and exactly the same style as his hotel chain in Tokyo. This store also has a public hot spring bath with excellent facilities. The bus I took arrived in Nagoya at 11 o'clock. I informed the front desk 5 hours in advance. I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 and checked in smoothly. The service attitude of the front desk guy was very good and I highly recommend it.

Room is small and not clean for such a new hotel, the bed is tooooooo soft, can’t slp at night. Cleaners speak so loud in the morning outside on the corridor. Overall, I will not ever choose this brand anymore.

Great location. It's about 25 minutes from Legoland. 4 hours without traffic from Kanagawa, Sagamihara. Paid parking is available. That is my only gripe that they do not validate parking. Not even for Hilton Honor members. 1 night of parking was 3000 yen. Breakfast was delicious. Good variety of food.

It was convenient location for a few minutes from the station. However, it is not very conspicuous along the narrow alley, so it may be better to guide it by maps without a sense of geography. I used a campaign for the prefectural people, so I had a procedure, but if it is normal, it is completed by self check-in, but it is cashless only. The room is functional even if it is not so large, and it is clean because it is new than anything. I thought that I didn't have to put it because it was not a Viking but a simple box.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 2 nights at the TIAD Autograph Collection, which just opened in July this year on weekdays in November. All rooms are over 50 ㎡ and are equipped with banquet halls, indoor pools and gyms. This time I booked a room on the Hisaya Daichi side, but it was a very comfortable stay. However, the tablet that operates various facilities in the guest room was not easy to use, and sometimes it was not possible to control the lighting and air conditioning as I thought. I was worried about the soft side when I saw other word of mouth, but I was able to receive good service generally.

AAA KikiLocation is a about 5-7 minutes walk from Nagoya station with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Staff is so inconsistent - one second they’re polite and the next they’re rude and inconsiderate. I was charged 2000 upon checkout for “extra fee” but wasn’t even told what it was for. Was in a rush to catch my flight so whatever I just paid - but just be careful when staying at low budget inns like this. Laundromat in the hotel only accepts 100yen coins but they don’t even have a coin changing machine so you have to go out and buy something to get enough coins. Wont stay here again.

CChoi TYThe hotel is located in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the Nagoya JR station and local sub-way station. The bus terminal which runs to the nearby cities and towns is also in the same area. The hotel reception is located on the 15 floor. It is quite easy to find as there are directional signs to guide visitors arriving at the train station /sub-way. The room itself is typical Japanese size, not too large but comfortable enough. Breakfast is Ok but not a lot of varieties, mainly Japanese and Western style. There are many restaurants located on the 12 and 13 floors, at the same building and the nearby station building.

GGuest UserHotel is right in front of Legoland. You can check in to the Hotel before entering the park. Highly recommend buying the tickets on the official website- international credit card accepted. Legoland is my favorite theme park because there isn't a queue or a crowd. That means you can totally enjoy the park and literally go on your favorite rides many times! The staff at the park is super friendly and they make the rides, arcade games and shopping memorable. Apple fries is a must have! Breaded apple slices with cinnamon dipped in whipped cream is such a treat on a winter day. Although the parks opening hours are 10am to 5pm, it's more than enough time to enjoy the park and even sit down for a meal or snack. Lego Hotel is amazing with big rooms and theme amenities. There is a children makers park near by with glass, pottery and even an animal zoo for children to enjoy. Of course, there are many eateries- Korean, Kyoto beef Katsu, Ramen, ********* Bubble tea and shops. There is a beautiful night fountain with lights, song and movement to enjoy. Highly recommend making the trip to Nagoya Legoland and staying at Legoland Hotel.

DdeborahI booked a room from 12/28/23 to 01/08/24. I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University. The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough. My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome! I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough! I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel! A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that. Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s . Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!! If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own. I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! A mom right at 60 years old out of her comfort zone from Alaska! Thank you Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Kanayama Annex to all the Staff and Housekeeping for a wonderful stay in Japan!

AAnonymous UserI personally appreciate the location, it was easier than any other options we had around Nagoya since we’re traveling with a young child. Smoking in all rooms is prohibited as well. I noticed it’s harder to look for this feature in hotels in Nagoya. I have my son in tow and this is an absolute NO for us. The room was really small. We can hardly walk around the room. It was extremely challenging to takeout and pack our things because we didn’t have any space to fully open our luggages. Though as mother, I’m glad their walls are thicker than most hotels in Japan. We’re not troubled with the noise from the next rooms. It gives me peace of mind too that we’re not disturbing other guests in case. The breakfast was enjoyable at Yoshinoya. The branch is a heart beat away. It’s way better than my experience at another hotel nearby. We enjoyed the many pillows they offer. In terms of cleanliness, this could be well improved. For Japanese hotels I think the situation at this hotel is lower. I could see the dusts hanging by the wall and the bathroom door. It’s not helping that I’m one of those people who observes these things. I appreciate that they allowed us to deposit our luggage when we left for another city and got it when we checked back in. Saved us so much trouble. I will still stay at this hotel.

Ppokemi_2225/9 has a high evaluation and a low price, and I used it for the first time. Despite the fact that there were only Nishiki and the influence of corona was small, there were many people who were quite drunk during the night around the hotel, but they were scared. It is a little far from the middle station where the security is bad. The entrance of the hotel is difficult to understand, and there is a door of the groundless through the narrow road, so I was worried for a moment, ”Is it closed?” When I checked in, the woman took charge and explained very politely. Other word of mouth had a low evaluation of the staff, but would it change depending on the person ...? The amenities handed over by hand were the same as those distributed for free at a general hotel, but the pack of the mouth was for women. The night shirt was very easy to use with a separate thing up and down. Stayed in a sunflower room on the 3 floor but the room itself is very nice. The scenery was not enjoyable and it was dark. I felt a bit narrow but it was reasonable considering the price. However, the toilet was not flushed and it was stuffed and the feeling was bad, and the feeling became the cause of the worst hotel evaluation. (Please tell the cleaning staff in room 303) I was also confused by the mirroring of the TV, the way was complicated, I was going to see the movie in Amazon video, but I didn't succeed. I was able to go to the screen for iPhone, connect WiFi and choose TV ... I was watching YouTube without any choice, but the line was bad and it was not moving, and there was no screen and voice, and it was very misplaced. So I finally saw a movie on my phone. I think it's inconvenient for young children to use. Where is the microwave oven description? There was no description in the elevator, and when I went to the 5th floor to get ice, there was a microwave oven. It was a little shock because it was after finishing shopping. When I checked out, a man and a woman stood at the front desk and checked out to the woman. It was a pity that there was no morning greeting and smile. It seems that the rank as a hotel is low for the good death considering the price.

EEchoqq4The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from JR Nagoya Station (Shinkansen JR Station/Meitetsu Bus Center) (taxi fare is around 1,400-1,900 yen). There are three supermarkets of different brands (Lawson/FamilyMart/711) around the hotel. There is a commercial street just a 2-minute walk away: Mitsukoshi Department Store (Mikimoto/Play, etc.), Matsuzakaya Department Store (Diesel, etc.), and many department stores, including Nike, Adidas, Zara, Onitsuka Tiger, Acne Studios, etc. In addition, all major luxury brands such as Dior/LV are available, and there are at least 4 drugstores nearby! The location is very suitable for shopping, there is basically no need to go anywhere else! However, please note that most of the business hours are 10:00-20:00, and a small number are 11:00-19:00 and 10:00-21:00. Drug stores are slightly later, so pay attention to the time when traveling! The hotel room is okay and the bathroom space is okay, but the service staff basically only dumped garbage and cleaned the bathroom during the stay! However, if you are just shopping, then this hotel is very cost-effective!

Very Good
Mmy.travels.exploredAround 8 mins walking distance to JR Nagoya and you can see the hotel building from the station if you walk out of Takashimaya Building. They have an underground pass from the train station and the nearest Hotel exit is via towards Lucine Tower L2 which only L2 has a lift up to the street while the rest of the exits are decked with stairs. Even if you lost your way to the hotel, you can always ask for the Post Office as they have a huge Post office nearby the station and passing by the Post office can lead you in the correct direction to the hotel. The impressive thing here is that they have an amenities bar at the lobby provided for room guests and they even have salt baths too! You can just grab your necessities any time you need. Not sure for 2 people but I find the room space is ok for single person, and very clean. Shampoo, shower gels, conditioner, hand soap and basic amenities like hangers and shoe polish are all provided. They also have cute magnet tags on your door to indicate for daily housekeepers. The room I've gotten is very clean and the walls are definitely not sound proof but decent enough to have your own peace and privacy. Facilities here may look old but I find it acceptable as they are very clean and well maintained. Only downside for tourists is that hotel staff here don't speak much English, and most of the room guests here are mostly Japanese business men, Japanese travelers to high school students and sometimes a few foreigners who can speak Japanese. Therefore, it is always helpful if you know some basic japanese or grab someone to stay along with who knows japanese will be good. Breakfast is in buffet style western and japanese, with soup, juice and coffee/tea. And everyday breakfast will be the same thing, but delicious and filling.
