Hotel Mielparque Nagoya

Nagoya|0.2km from Chikusa Station
The hotel is well situated across from a convenience store and exit no. 1 to Chikusa subway, which connects to both JR Chuo line and Higashiyama line. Whilst the hotel is known for weddings, and an established hotel offering only a restaurant, it lacks in other areas of convenience and upkeep. The vending machine in the lobby was out of service, with the next being located outside of the hotel in the parking lot along with the designated smoking area. From the offset, it is aged, and whilst the lobby seems to be kept clean, the western standard smoking room on the 5th floor was shabby, with many signs of wear and tear, stains, and in need of a renewal. In comparison with other hotels of the same level, this hotel is sub-par with the rooms requiring an upgrade. Inside the room, a complimentary bottle of water is provided. The old desk had one inbuilt power outlet in a position not practical for laptop chargers. Everything is rundown with visible markings from the furnishings, walls and carpets, to the toilet-shower unit. The wifi was not working, so the front desk staff changed me to the next room where connectivity was working, but the condition was identical. The room windows cannot be opened, and whilst the temperature of air conditioning can be changed, the room becomes unpleasantly stuffy and dry, especially in the winter season. Surprisingly, for a smoking room, it does not have an air purifier/humidifier unit which is an inexpensive yet effective method to improve the air condition. In its current state, I can’t imagine holding a wedding and inviting guests to stay. Overall, this hotel has potential with renovation, but until then, I would not stay here again.

Hotel Route-Inn Nagoya Imaike Ekimae

The room was clean. Nice staff but not speaking english well so littlebit difficult communication. The room was really small but the rooms are like that in every japanese hotel. Not so good location but near metro so it is ok. There was washingmashine and dryer in the hotel (300yen total) which was really great.
Toyoko Inn Nagoya Sakae

Parts of this Toyoko (corridors) are, like the immediate neighbourhood, by Japanese standards, slightly rundown. The Sakae underground shopping/dining mall is an amazing labyrinth worth exploring. The air conditioning (to be used as heating in November) was reatively easy to use, in spite of the Kanji-only remote keys. The staff at breakfast appeared less stressed and more on top of things than the Toyoko Inn average. The WiFi in the lobby had such low security settings that my computers (all three of them) refused to connect to it. But in my guestroom it was thankfully OK. View from my room was almost totally blocked by what looked like a tower of freight containers piled up inches away from my window. The breakfast room can be so crowded that you may need to eat standing, so don't bring any luggage into it if at all possible. It is a relatively small Toyoko Inn but, otherwise, like all Toyoko's, and in spite of a few minor weaknesses, solid, reliable and very practical.

Hotel Venus Neo
4.1/510 Reviews
I really recommended this hotel. It was just that the Japanese holiday was not available in the hotel. Take the subway to Crane Dance and walk for 10 minutes. Opposite the hotel is the AEON department store, there is a big supermarket on the first floor, you can buy and buy. The hotel lobby is small but the room is clean. All kinds of toiletries, men's and women's skin care lotions, girls' small items, even curly hair sticks, too intimate. The room was normal, very quiet and completely no noise. The service is very good, breakfast is delivered to the door, there is a Chinese waiter, and I also helped to book a car to the famous iron station.
Design Hotel W Zip Club

The hotel has all the facilities in the hotel, the luxurious suites are booked with their own spa pool. But every time you go in and out, you have to help open the door at the front desk, which is a bit troublesome
