Hotels in Kanayama, Nagoya

After exiting Jinshan Station, go out towards the Civic Center Cross a big road and see Shanghai Cuisine Yu Garden on your right. The room is very clean and the facilities are new The area is not small. It is very suitable for one person to live in. There is also a microwave in the room Will consider staying here in the future

I booked a room from 12/28/23 to 01/08/24. I came to Nagoya to visit my son who is a student at Nagoya Gakuin University. The Hotel was perfect for all my needs! I can’t praise the staff enough. My room was perfect! It was not a huge room but had everything I needed! It had a small refrigerator, a nice bathroom, a small area to hang any clothes, a good size tv and a comfortable bed! Housekeeping was very kind and made me feel very welcome! I have lived in several countries during my life but had never been to Japan. I came to Japan knowing no Japanese and was a bit nervous that I was on my own when I’d come back to my room and my son would retire to his dorm but the staff was very patient with me. I was slowly being taught some phrases from my son and when I needed to communicate further with the staff I used my translator app on my phone. At all times the staff were very kind and patient with me! I can’t praise them enough! I had everything I needed within a minutes walk from my hotel! A wonderful 3 level grocery/department store was around the corner from my hotel called Aeon. I was able to buy anything I needed from food, drinks, and clothing. There was even Dominos pizza around the other corner if you wanted that. Down the street in a different direction was a pharmacy and fast food like McDonald’s . Kanayama train station was right there in the middle of everything and I used this everyday!!!! If anyone is traveling to Nagoya I recommend staying here!! With the train station being located so close to the hotel you can be anywhere in no time. My son was in Hibino so I would take the subway everyday to meet up with him or vice versa! I was so proud of myself for being able after 1 day of being their to be able to get around on my own. I hope anyone that chooses to stay here has a wonderful experience just like me! I was happy to respond to the request for additional pillows. There are other things you need in the room, and after all, there is an open space called Comfort Library Cafe, so even if you use it for a little time during your stay or after check-out. It's great to see. I'm thinking of going here again next time on a business trip in Nagoya.

Great hotel. We booked with the breakfast option. Best breakfast buffet around with several American & Japanese items. We had a room with 2 twin beds. Beds were much wider than U.S. twin beds and could easily sleep 2 little kids. Room also had couch, table, 2 LR type chairs, drawers for clothes, safe, coffee/tea, hair dryer, robes, shampoo, conditioner & soap. Bathroom had packaged combs, razor, toothbrushes & other toiletries. Hotel was located next to train station so it was easy to get around. We could not hear trains or traffic. If you go through the train station and turn left, there is an outdoor shopping mall with several restaurants. We ate there as the hotel was expensive for lunch/dinner.

The hotel is very close to Kanayama Station. The room is very clean. The service girl and the brother are very friendly. They also explained to us in detail how to get to Tokyo. It was a very satisfying trip. I will stay here next time I have a chance to come to Nagoya. It's great

Just across Otsu Dori street from the north exit of Kanayama Station and the east exit. Kanayama Station is convenient for something. The front desk is on the second floor. The room we stayed in was upgraded and the bedroom was in the back of the door. It was not a good room with a good view outside. The bus was a shower room, but there is a large bath. It is large and comfortable if you use this. Breakfast was a buffet and the menu was substantial.

Very big and still new Toyoko Inn. Toyoko Inn is everywhere in Japan if you put it in the room. I like the bed because it is firm and does not hurt my waist. The recently built property has a rain shower. It was like this here. The toilet seat is very compact but not as difficult to use as it looks. The hair dryer is not able to move, but the wind volume is now a strong wind type, so there is no dissatisfaction. However, access is bad anyway. The nearest station will certainly be Kanayama, but can this really be called Kanayama? The location of the business hotel is bad. And nothing. It's a little mystery why I built it here. Since national route 22 has little crosswalk on the main road and is completely blocked by the central separation zone, the next crosswalk in front of Anna crown is to cross the road if it goes to the kuchobori intersection Yes. The shortest route from the station will climb the Kanayama pedestrian bridge from the road along the train. It took about 12 minutes to walk from the ticket gate of the station even the shortest. There is a transfer bus, but it is not possible to plunge into the rotary of the station, and it is only about three minutes to the ticket gate of the station because it arrives at the end of the asnar. It is easier than walking, but it is subtle whether the time is shortened, and if the timing of the departure is exquisite, it can win the time in walking, but if it waits for departure, it may be faster to walk out quickly. Even if it is a bus, it is a grand high ace, so it is not a thing that can ride dozens of people. For example, if you go to the Nagoya International Conference Hall, you need to leave the hotel 15 minutes before you take the train from Kanayama Station, and the international conference hall is also far from the station and walks about 10 minutes. If the timetable interval of the Meijo line or the Meijo line is added here, it takes more than 30 minutes. Rather, it takes 30 minutes to walk directly from the hotel to the conference hall, so it is not shortened by the time, and it must always be balanced with fatigue and weight of luggage. Very subtle location. If it rains, it becomes a taxi, but it is a dilemma that it doesn't have to stay in Kanayama anymore. Then, it may be a hotel that you come by your car from the beginning. I don't know how much parking fee is taken, but there was a full car mark. Anyway, I felt actually farther than the distance I saw on the map before visiting. As a result, it seems that the guest will not come unless the accommodation fee is lowered, and depending on the purpose and the time margin, it may be able to stay well cost-effective. It's over when it gets old, so I think it's better to attract a delicious restaurant around or develop a surrounding area. Convenience stores are in front of family, but there are not many repertoire of beer. Also, there is no matomo shop if the so-called restaurant does not go to Kanayama station. It is a big difference in the feeling that it walks 10 minutes while looking for various shops and walks 10 minutes where there is nothing, and the feeling that it must come back again makes the mind a big deal. It's good to be quiet enough to surprise even if you open the window.

The location of MARRIOT is best for me...ACCESSIBLE to the BUSES, TRAINS,BULLET TRAINS, TAXIS to CHUBU CENTRAIR NAGOYA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT。Whether your a foreigner, local, japanese whatever the BEST location☝️don't mention the shopping MALLS , WOW🤗　get out from the LOBBY and you can have it all ❣️ even the most expensive RESTAURANTs or street foods CAFES or any kind of RESTAURANTs you can find it if you don't have a lot of time . Because of this i extended my stay for another night. ［, but my original plan is to change HOTEL.］and in the end I decided to stay in MARRIOTT😁 HOTEL SERVICES are good .

my friend and her whole family had a wonderful 8 days stay, the hotel staffs were very accommodating and always attends to any request. Drink servive bar at the lobby is always available, breakfast is generous too! would reccommend Meitetsu for future clients! kudos
