Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel is located at midst of Nagoya City and just directly above the Nagoya Station. You are basically can go anywhere from there by intercity trains to remote locations or by metro subways to local nearby point of interests (POI) and it is super convenience. There are lot of shopping malls and good F&B / sake shops around and you will never feeling tired to try and explore. The guest room hygiene is good as expected and I liked the hot water supply and temperature inside the bathtub. I found that the hot water supply and temperature in those Marriott-series hotel is far more better than those nowadays contemporary / modern hotels, which is so important to a tourist like me to take a relax after a whole-day travel visit in different POIs.

After I checked into room 1517, lots of strange things happened. It made me feel very sick and items in the room moved and my phone constantly dropped from the flat desk. I literally vomited over 10 times the moment I stepped into that room.
Anyway contacted trip.com and they couldn’t do anything to help. Was pretty disappointed with trip.com as I am already a diamond member and was held on the line for over 30min for literally nothing. The hotline staff kept telling me Japanese speaking staff not available and no progress.
Fortunately I called front desk and at first they told me they would charge me $63800 yen for a switch of room, then they sent someone up to the room and agreed to switch me to another room for free after they noticed the problem. New room with the view of the TV tower and everything was fine. Location is great but wouldn’t stay there again personally.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Everything you do is within walking distance for transportation. Hotel to bus station (if you are taking a bus to outlet mall) or if you book a tour the location is also within walking distance. Shopping, food, local, JR, Nagoya station is within walking distance. From airport to hotel is a direct stop. Hotel staffs are very friendly and they have excellent drip strong coffee.

Beautifully decorated in December for christmas. Although older building, hotel was well maintained and staff friendly. Limited English though. Rooms a little dark (orange lighting) but ideal for a good night's rest. Best for free parking.

Nagoya is my first stop in Japan. The hotel is a typical Japanese hotel, small and exquisite, and I enjoyed my stay for a few days.
When I checked in, my staff was rude, expressionless and impatient. It was very embarrassing to raise the volume inexplicably after I asked the question.
However, the breakfast in the hotel is very good, which is unexpected. Although it is the same every day, it is still rich. I regret not buying it in advance. The breakfast in the hotel is worth booking in advance.

Although it’s a three-star hotel, it is a great hotel for one to three people to stay in. The hotel is nice and quiet, most rooms come with free breakfast buffet coupons (which are limited but still nice enough) and the beds are quite big. The wifi works quite well and the rooms are big enough for three. I’m not sure if there are conjoining rooms, but it they will be recommended for families of four and above. There aren’t many guests in the hotel, and most of them are businessmen.
The hotel is also at a convenient location—there is Lawson in front of it, a 7-11 behind it and a Family Mart northeast of it(across the street). It is a short walk of 3min away from JR Nagoya Stn.
Some bad things about the hotel are that the TV’s programs are all in Japanese, and even the CNN is translated into Japanese, so I recommend you use your phones or tablets to watch the shows you like. There also isn’t a window and the aircon is quite weak, so it gets stuffy sometimes. However, apart from that, it is quite an enjoyable stay!!

I really didn't expect that this hotel also provides breakfast. It's said to be simple, but the coffee is delicious, the bread is branded, and there are rice balls and milk. The location is very good, very close to Kintetsu and Nagoya Railway Station.

It’s a great hotel located in the heart of Nagoya - Sakae is a great spot to see attractions and plenty of food options nearby. You can see Oasis21 and Mirai Tower, the ferris wheel and the restaurants nearby. You can do Lawson runs and enjoy the overall comfort of the hotel.
The Breakfast is awesome and I highly recommend getting it. Grindelwald was nice as well!

Convenient location, just perfectly above JR train station and Takashimaya department store. Room is a bit smaller than expected. Mobile charger is available in the room too.
Breakfast buffet has a reasonable variety of choices, but limited selection of veg and fruit. Unagi rice, deep fried prawn tempura and chicken wing are delicious. Hand crafted hot latte is available in the bar too.

CcereresVery nice accommodation just around the corner from the station. Staff is very friendly, having breakfast included we’re also pretty convenient. Room is not big, but more spacious than in other accommodation of this type i stayed before. Hotel also conveniently allows to leave your bags before check-in. It was comfortable stay for a couple of days

GGuest UserThe room was clean and comfortable. The hotel provides room cleaning which is a plus compared to other hotels which charges for room cleaning.
Given the location, the size of the room and the comfortable stay environment, the hotel provides great value for money.
I will stay here again on my next trip to Nagoya.

DDabby RagasaThis was part of our mid-way point of our Japan taster city breaks. Hotels are a vital part of city breaks. The Meitetsu Grand Hotel is finely and centrally located right next to Nagoya Station.
They offered a smoking room with a view on the 14th floor to die for. The room offers great amenities, including coffee making, a fridge chiller and wholesome bathroom accessories. There’s ice making machine, filtered mineral water and a Y500 laundry service on the same floor.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. However, the breakfast was an additional fee with a huge selection of hot and cold buffet.
Absolutely love this stay and I fully recommend it to future travellers.

GGuest UserWhen I booked the hotel through the APP, I didn't notice that this B'S hotel has its own small shuttle bus outside Nagoya Station, which doesn't have many seats. In my impression, the shuttle bus between Nagoya Station and the hotel is available starting at 4 p.m. (no reservation required, first-come-first-served basis), and there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Nagoya Station starting at 10 a.m. (you need to contact the hotel first for this journey) Reservation at the front desk), friends in need remember to check the time on the hotel's official website first.
The room is not big, a little bit old, and the cleanliness is average. It is still suitable as a place to rest during the trip. What is commendable is that guests staying here can use the large bath (including sauna room), rock bath (there are two of them, each can accommodate about 10 people), and massage chairs (there should be 8-10 people) for free. The women's bath is larger than expected and can accommodate more than a dozen people bathing at the same time. There is a large pool and a cold pool on one side, and there are 4 single-person hydromassage pools on the other side.
The hotel's free breakfast is very simple, with only a few types of bread, vegetable soup, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, and drinks.
Overall, it's a great value if you go for the hot springs and rock baths.

GGuest UserIt was more comfortable and cleaner than I thought. Sometimes there was water on the floor of the dry shower room, but it wasn't enough to be bothersome. The bed was very soft. The downside was that there was no elevator, so if you get stuck on the 4th floor, you're dead;

Ssuk ping chowThe hotel is in a very good location, very close to the subway station and attractions. The staff are all polite, speak English and the service is very good. Although the room is not big, it has a five-foot double bed, unlike those hotels where double rooms only have single beds. There is breakfast and welcome drinks, good sound insulation, and the bed is very comfortable. It is a great value hotel.
