The stay was okay, hotel looked posh from the outside so I was expecting a great stay.
Like what other reviewers said, cleanliness at apartment side is really basic. Our feet were black after walking one round around the apartment. Kitchen top was dusty as well.
Other that that, location is great.

The two bedroom apartment is clean. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast buffet spread.
The room that we stay is directly west facing so can capture the nice sunset from the balcony.
Location is about 15mins away from batam ferry terminal.
Nearby has a minimart.

Pleasant stay, warm aervice and hospitality. Room is spacious. Good value for money. 10-15 mins Grab ride away to main shopping and eateries.
The only feedback is the hotel gym closes at 9pm. The residences gym is open but we could not use even though we are hotel guests. I wish there is some flexibility.

Location was average.
Check in was quick.
3 bedroon apartment was spacious but basic. No other information about hotel or room service provided.
Living room sofa was worn and uncomfortable. Tv looked small, didnt use.
Kitchen lacked pots pans, utensils, sufficient plates bowls, etc to cook. What was provided was pathetic. Liked the water dispenser.
3 bedrooms were alright. Toilets were alright.
Not face or hand towels available.
Had 2 long power trips during the first night stay. Everything including lifts in apartment block had zero power for more than 1h. Another power trip likely happened and cut power to our unit for hours (needed to reinsert the access card into the entrance card slot). Lacked of backup power to the building presents a serious fire safety issue in case of evacuation! No significant service recovery at all.
Buffet breakfast restaurant lacked capacity to handle crowds. What looked like decent range of food was very starch heavy and lacked proteins and vegetables. Slow to replenish items. Lacked quality, food taste was meh.
Hotel had banners selling stays and vitamin infusions for hypertension cure and other problems... Complete sham medicine!
Wont stay here again! Even my 4 kids completely agree!!

The hotel room is clean and the receptionist was able to assist us in terms of combining two single beds. Appreciate the service.
I guess it could be due of long weekend, the restaurant was packed with many guests. Hence, I unable to comment the breakfast.
As for location, it is out of the HOT locations.
If you like nightlife, then this hotel is a no to you.
If you are the type prefer quiet area, this could he suitable for you.
It is definitely best for people who drives. It will be easier to access to shopping malls and other attractions.
Well, nevertheless, you can grab to places.

This was my first time staying at Aston Hotel Batam for 2 days and 1 night. Overall, the stay was fine, but I was quite disappointed with the soundproofing of the room. It was very poor, and I could clearly hear noises and conversations from the corridor outside. I hope the management can look into improving this, as it affected the quality of rest during my stay.
